  1. @UWISHTOO, I'm the same way. I plan to fly out to San Diego on May 30th, surgery on the 31st, fly home on the 3rd and start working from home ASAP. I actually took 6 days total vacation but hoping I wont have to use them all. We shall see! I dont see why you couldnt visit you clients after surgery. Maybe just wear a sundress so your belly isnt confined. DUNNO....I'm playing this by ear myself! Seen some who are up and about shortly after surgery and then I've seen some that can't get moving for 2-3 weeks. Nice bike by the way! You look like a rock-n-roll hot mama in your profile pic!
  2. You go UWISHTOO!!! I have been riding so long now that if I even dare to get on the back of my boyfriends bike I squeeze him till he can't breath! I wonder about how long it will take before I can ride also! My bike is pretty darn heavy! Once I get going, I'll be fine....it's just being able to handle it at a stand still...... Thoughts anyone?
  3. Agreed! I am the same way! I keep sneaking off to the forum....its like my new addiction! Work 5 minutes and then...poof.....concentration is gone!
  4. Fantastic video Holly!!! Wishing you the best of luck! Keep us posted!!!
  5. Yeah, not a pretty sight for sure! I also seem to carry a lot of weight in my upper body. My arms are huge. The pics didnt do them justice at all! I am so embarrassed to wear sleevless shirts now!!! I live in Texas though and it gets so hot here you have to!!! Booking our flights to San Diego tonight! I am SOOOO excited! I'm not taking too much time off from work. I work from home a lot so I'm hoping I will be able to sit at the computer in less than a week. We shall see!
  6. @ Findeing Myself....that is so true! Border line diabetic is just around the corner for me! I gave up smoking almost a week ago so I'm hoping that will help the shortness of breath! I travel a lot all over the world and lately I am finding its extremely hard to lug my computer case and the roll around luggage while traveling. I have to stop and catch my breath in the middle of the airport. What gives??? Well....that would be the unhealthy weight I have put on in the past 10 years! I feel like I look like a beached whale in ANYTHING I put on nowdays! Reality finally sank in when I took my "BEFORE" pics and uploaded a little while ago.....GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can usually hide some of that fat under clothes. Not now.....I bared it all baby! You can't even see by undie bottoms from the front view cause of my gut hanging over!!! YUCK!!! THIS HAS TO BE THE ANSWER TO MY PRAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. @Babygirl, looks like you are well on your way! 47lbs gone is fantastic! How long ago was your surgery? Keep it up, and this time next year you'll be cruisin down the road with the wind in your face riding your own scooter!!!
  8. What an inspiration! You look beautiful! I hope my results are as great as yours!
  9. I saw you in that strapless dress hot mama!!! You go girl! Beautiful!!!
  10. Hate to say it but....I will soon be 44 years old and I don't plan to tell my parents until its all over with and I'm a skinny minni! I really don't want either of them to worry about me! The surgery is bad enough, but, going to Mexico to have my surgery is 10 times worse! No need to put them through all that until it's over! I told my best friend (she's going with me) and my boyfriend. I also told 1 person at work and swore them to secrecy!
  11. I'm jealous too! My surgery isn't until May 31st and the waiting is pure torture!
  12. Makes you wanna ask them if their mother never taught them mannors!
  13. I'm with ya FindingMyself!!! I am going to TJ to see Dr. Almanza on May 31st. My BFF is going with me. She probably weighs 110lbs soaking wet and has told me over and over that I'm not fat...I look fine...I don't need surgery. It honestly infuriates me to no end! I love her but...seriously...how can a "skrawwwny" chick like that say such a thing? I'm 5'4 and weigh 200lbs. Been wearing a 2x to 3x for a long time and I just keep going up! I have held on to those old jeans for years hoping I could fit into them again. I have tried every diet out there and had success with some only to goin it back + some when it's all said and done! I would love, love, love to see 125lbs again! To be able to go shopping and look GOOD in those new cloths instead of a cow in a moo-moo would be FANTASTIC!!! Boots in Houston
  14. Bring it on sista!!! I think thats the perfect reply to rude ppl!!!! Boots in Houston
  15. Good luck Kansasgirl!!! Be sure to keep us posted on your progress! I KNOW you have to be nervous as a cat on a tin roof!!! Boots in Houston
  16. Proud Mama....I didn't think we could have gum. I am a huge gum junkie and this like music to my ears!!! I am really excited to begin my journey!!! I'm scheduled for May 31st. I have been trying to research as much as possible so I'll know what to expect and how to handle it! Any advise from the pros would be much appriciated!!! I've also been reading up on the stay at the recovery house vs. the Hotel Tuscan (?). They say the recovery house is very crowed and can be loud. I worry about the comfort of my guest there.....however.....I also hear that if you stay at the hotel you must ride back and forth twice daily to the recovery house for your meds and/or pain killers and that could be a deal breaker for me. Anyone with advise? Boots in Houston
  17. MEXICO baby!!! They have fantastic pricing on plastic surgery!!!
  18. Sounds interesting....tell me more!!! I have considered the 'mommy makover'.
  19. May 31st in Mexico with Dr. Almanza....anyone else?
  20. Louisiana Girl - 35lbs in 3 months is fantastic!!! I would never dream that a person starting out <200lbs would make that much progress that quickly!!! How long till you were able to go back to your job? Do you have heartburn? Do you have trouble with meats such a well done steak that are not moist and tender? What happens if you eat too much? Trying to gather all the onfo I can before my May 31st surgery. Boots in Houston
  21. Weight Watchers, Atkins, HCG, Diet pills, Nutrasystem, Sugar Busters, Slimfast......are just a few of the diets I have tried over and over for YEARS!!! At 5'4" , 44 years old and 200 lbs it was time to take a different dirrection! I scheduled my surgery for May 31st in TJ Mexico. Drastic - YES!!! So, tell me ladies....how are you doing? Do you still get hungry? Complications? Boots in Houston
  22. Peaceful / Baby Girl, go to the Riders Class, it is WELL worth it! Next, hook up with some well seasoned riders who can show you all the ropes! I bought my Harley about 3 yrs ago and have been the fat chick on the bike ever since! I can't wait to fit into some of those cute little leather halter tops and look good doing it!!! Scheduled to have my surgery May 31st, 2012. Super pumped about it!!! Boots in Houston
