  1. Thanks ladies! It feels good to know that I'm not alone. I didnt think of alternatives because my cravings are so strong. I'm definitely going to think of the alternatives. Funny how they never come to mind!!!! Lol gonna have to make a more conscious effort. If I could erase 2 weeks out of every month I would in a heart beat! Happy losing. Love my band!

  2. How do you deal with PMS? Not mood swings or back aches but CRAVINGS? I am pretty good with restriction, but during the week to week and a half before the actual flow i can eat and be satisfied but yet eat within an hour or so later. I'm not hungry I'm craving!!!! Most of the time cravings win even if I can only eat a small amount. I hate this! I get bloated the scale goes up and my mind began to sink back to the girl I was 36lbs ago. The scale says I'm up 4lbs but I know that's not true but it bothers me. Any suggestions?

  3. I am nearly 4 months post op and lately my port area has been hurting and sore. I took a look in the mirror at it today and I have a bruise just below the scar. I think something's wrong or is this normal... I don't know but I'm worried. Please help!

  4. Thanks everyone for your responses I found it was just that one day and I was very emotional. I'm going to have to find other things

to do to fight emotional hunger instead of giving I to the temptation.

  5. Today I ate a lot and its not that my band is t working but I was able to eat more than normal. Yes it was some slide foods but I got the fu feeling but I just kept craving food! Does this happen from time to time? If its happened to you how did you overcome the urge to eat more?

  6. If I had to guess' date=' you're taking too big of bites and/or eating too fast. Because of it you're not eating enough and hungry often.

Try small bites, and I mean tiny. Chew it until mush and put down the fork and pause between bites.

When I finally hit the Green Zone, I had about a week of relearning how to eat. Once I got my bite size small enough I was fine. Here's a picture of the bite size next to my finger nail for comparison:

Omg you are so right! I thought I was too tight but i realized I needed to take smaller bites. Thanks for the pic because at first I didn't know how small was small enough.
