  1. Zumba is my new addiction..it could be worst.
  2. I think I am back to "normal" but my normal includes exercise. I don't get very hungry anymore. My surgery was March 2012. I have lost about 42 pounds. I want to loose about 20 more pounds..there are foods I no longer eat, nor do I want to eat..my normal is working for me. I don't want to be the fat girl again.
  3. As a new skinny girl I won't miss wearing a size 16. I exercise, I wear little summer dresses, and I Love it.....
  4. We all have had those days. I swear it gets better. One day you will wake up smiling and not feeling like crap. I know this because it happened to me. It takes time to figure it all out, but you will. Give yourself a break and start to enjoy the process.
  5. Any surgery is scary, I was so scared that I would die, but guess what I survived and you will to. Best of luck. Say a prayer and relax. This surgery changed my life and it will change yours as well.
  6. I did not realize how much weight I gained until I had surgery and started losing weight.
  7. Just checking in. I had my surgery March 27th 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Long Island. Dr. Garber is my surgeon. I am so happy even though it was rough in the begining. I would do it again.
  8. I took off 3 weeks. I needed every bit of it. You really have to get use to eating again because it is so different after surgery.
  9. I agree with listening to pre -op recommendations they give you in the class at Meecy Hospital they are very helpful. I had my surgery in March and I feel great . I would do it again....
  10. Hi I live in Queens and was sleeved at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Ctr on March 27th 2012. My surgeon was Dr. Garber. The surgery changed my life. This my first time replying. Yeah..... Liz
