  8. Hello fellow teachers! I am a 4th grade teacher in Louisiana! I was sleeved on May 22 and so excited to start off the new school year as a NEW me!
  9. You know what I'm tired of.... Let me tell you! I come on this forum every once in a while to remind myself that I'm apart of this community. I don't come often anymore like i use to. But every time I do, there's a post like this! Someone trying to tell others what to do. This is suppose to be for support, not to criticize what others think or post about what they want support for. At times, I would like to post, but then I think of that person like yourself who will post what you feel rather than support a fellow person in our community. Stalls happen, yes, but we need to be more of a supportive community for those who need it!! #getagrip
  10. Greatttt! Congrats! I'm 4lbs away! Can't wait either.

  12. I was sleeved on the 22nd as well but only down 17lbs. I guess the food part isn't bothering me as much as losing the weight. Ive been at a stall for 4 days now. Not sure why but I don't want to do anything to mess this up, including going back to bad habits. I have however had numerous dreams about eating then woke up to reality! That sucked!

  14. I'm too experiencing a stall! I'm worried because im only 10 days post op. I'm down 17lbs but haven't seen lost on 3 days! I think it triggered when I started full liquids. #waitingpatiently
  15. I had mine done on the 22nd in Lafayette with Dr. Chu. She was awesome! Can't wait for this new journey to take off.
  16. Thanks everyone for the input. I'm shock at the different plans for many, such as starting full liquids on day 2... Wow.
  17. How are the May 22 sleevers doing? Just curious
  18. Aly, that's what i totally meant. Can I start full liquids, not necessarily toss anything into my mouth. Lol I will talk to my surgeon tomorrow since ill then be 6 days post! Thanks for everyone's reply!
  19. Where are the louisiana sleevers? How is everyone doing?
  20. I'm 5 days post and feeling great. Hardly no pain, i can drink or sip with hardly any pain. My dilemma is that I'm ready to start the next stage! I am so sick of clear liquids. Do you all think because I'm doing so well, I can start incorporating soups? Lol or stick to the plan?
  21. I was sleeved on the 22nd. I was told that the back pain and shoulders pain was gas. Once I started passing, it got better. I'm gonna try this morning to drink something.
  22. Thanks for the thread! I was sleeved on yesterday and having trouble digesting. It's not nausea, but pain when the liquid hits my stomach!! Ouch
  23. Ok so I didn't go through with my first date but May 22 is set in stone. I'm waiting and nervous!
