Thank y'all so much! I feel like I have total support unlike my "real life" lol. By eating normally I mean normal everyday food- just tiny portions. For example' date=' we went to dairy queen and I had a half a taco. I drink with my meals cause I absolutely cannot handle food getting stuck in my throat. I don't drink carbonated drinks AT ALL. Yes I tried once without thinking and let me tell you I will never try that again. I have lost 30 lbs total since dos 3/21. I haven't been back to my surgeon because last time I went for a check up the nurse practitioner told me she was very disappointed with my weight loss and I must not be following the rules. At that time I was but I figured o well I might as well do what I want cause apparently it couldn't hurt. I started out with my 22's holding on for dear life and now my 20's are pretty loose but I haven't had to buy anything yet. I paid out I pocket and sometimes I wonder if I'm just sabotaging myself cause I'm not following "the rules". I def get in my Protein but get hungry about every 3 hrs.[/quote']I eat about every 3 hrs too, but I try to have something w Protein. Ex. mozzarella cheese stick, or beef Jerky, or chobany Greek yogurt 0%, or special k Protein shake...oh and SF popsicles 15-25 calories are my fav (no protein).

I was sleeved 3/12/12 and I'm down 35lbs TOTAL. That is definitely NOT great for being 2 1/2 months out :/ and I'm eating "normally". Of course I get all my Protein in first (about 60g daily) and consume about 800 calories daily, with absolutely NO carbonated drinks. At my 6 wk post op check I was consuming 400-500 calories a day and was told by my NUT that I had to up my cals to break my stall....well I have only lost 5 lbs since then..Tomorrow I go in to see my dietitian, we'll see what she tells me now, maybe up my cals again (which freaks me out, sounds like too much). This weight needs to starts dropping! Ugh!

I had to go in today for my 2 month post-op labs so I asked to use the scale while I was there. Guess what? I weighed 11 oz less than I did 5 weeks ago. This was also at 2pm and I'd been fasting since 9 the previous night' date=' so those silly 11 oz weren't really a loss. Not that 11 oz would be a loss anyway. So I'm still good and stalled. Heading into 6 weeks stalled... and 9 weeks sleeved. I have patience, but this is really, really getting ridiculous.[/quote']
I know what ur going through..tomorrow is my 3mo post op appt and I've lost only 5 lbs since my 6 wk post op appointment I've been doing everything right and can't help feeling disappointed in my self. Everyone keeps saying I'll get there but at this pace its gonna take years!

I find myself doing the same thing. I think its because I can't eat too much during my 3 main meals so I end up nibbling here and there...thank goodness for MFP that keeps me on track )

Eggs get a lot of people. They go along fine eating the eggs pureed or fried' date=' then they try scrambled and the eggs make them sick. It's a guessing game sometimes, but it does get better! [/quote']So true, I have tried eggs in an omelet and did ok. But this weekend I tried a fried egg (Pam spray) and it made me so sick...why is that?

Aww, my husband told me he loved me the way I was and that I didn't need to have the surgery. Now, that I had it he tells me that he's proud of me for doing what I wanted and he still thinks I didn't need the surgery :-) We all have a loving man by our side!! It's wonderful!

All I can say is that I bumped them up yesterday and felt icky. I don't like eating that many carbs. Today I was one lb less but I had to take a Water pill because I was holding onto that much Water. I know what you mean cuz I feel that way too when I read about other people. I keep praying that by me losing this slowly' date=' maybe I then will not have sagging skin or lose my hair.[/quote']
That's what I'm hoping too. The slower pace might help our body react by not having loose skin.

Me too. Tonight I tried bumping up my calories and carbs to see if I could trick my body.
Well let me know how that works out for u...I dont think I should compare my journey w others but it makes me a lil worried when I read how many ppl lose so much weight so fast :/

Omg! I have been an extremely slow loser as well.. I was in a stall for about 3 wks, and then dropped 2 lbs in a wk and half. This is too slow, I am wondering when the weight loss will continue. Started at 262 now at 228 :/ I'm 9 wks out tomorrow.
