  2. At a year out' date=' your body will not have finished bouncing back. I'm 15 months post, been at goal for 7 months, and things are still shifting around. My plan has been to wait until 2 years post. That way, whatever elasticity my skin has will be done as well as whatever my body can re-absorb. I think a year post is just too early.

Your insurance will only cover it if it is causing you health issues. Google the topic.[/quote']

I am going to google it

  3. it depends on what state you are from. in Connecticut i have Husky A which is medicare as well. they cover the body not the arms and legs i believe. my friend is getting hers done next month but your Surgeons office should be very familiar with what they cover and you can also call your insurance directly and they will tell you. mine covers it a year out and it has to be medically neccessary causing rashes and irritation stuff like that

I live in new york city

  5. Well i am going to tell u all this, one of the nurse that took care of me told me that like 30 years age ur grandma had a ulcer and had to do a emergence sleeve because she was blooding to dead and she was 60 years old and she got really sknny so they got worry that she had cancer so the took her to the doc and the didn't find nothing cause there was notthing call gastric sleeve back then and she die at age of 94 of old age... So do u guys see my point..

  6. Wow two years! That's just crazy...This was never mentioned to me prior to the surgery. If I would have mown this I would have never gone thru it. Really scared of my future with the sleeve!

But like i said 1 in a 1000 so don't think negative u will be ok just go by what ur doc say and u won't have nothing to worry about..:)

  7. Well i was told that u will always have a risk.. Doc told me about a girl that was over eating 2 years out and got a leak but he said he have only heard about that lady and that is from 1 in a 1000... So just don't over eat.. I am 3 months out and i have never throw up cause when i feel full i stop no matter how good is the food , i'll just safe it for later
