i am 4 weeks after my vsg.can i eat a hotdog (without bread) or a chicken sausage

I am over 4week post op n I ate a chicken sausage! Half of it anyways too the casing off! Didnt bother me at all! I can't do hamburger meat

I got French vanilla Cappuccino flavor n a mocha coffee flavor there are great n don't upset my stomach

I was sleeved on 4/3 so I have been off of the liquid stuff for a week n half! My fav thing to et is Soup from La Madelines reduced fat tomatoe basil soup! Thinned down with 1 percent milk n blended! It was the best n it got me thru the 2 weeks! I also love cambells tomatoe basil soup as well!

Thank you all for the suggestions! I actually bought me Keurig today! I found a great flavor that I can live with n low in calories sugar n carbs!

I use the pre mix stuff from GNC! GNC total lean lean shakes! chocolate is the best

I live in the texoma area n work in the Dallas area! I would love to have a buddy to help me! I had surgery on 4/3/12

I finally got unstuck lost 4 lbs! I am able to et n I think that helped!

I am really wanting Starbucks but unsure of what I can have from there! B4 surgery I was drinking grande no whip mocha frap! I am not a big coffee drinker but love the taste of all the other kind! Any suggestions?

I have been battling this for years! I finally had my surgery on 4/3! Surgery is by no means as a cop out ! 4 weeks out n this is has not been easy! This surgery is a tool that has been given to u to use to help lose weight! This has been the best tool I have ever given myself! Day by day I see results of losing weight n feeling soooo much better about myself! I am now under 300lbs lost 32lbs n feel great! I do not regret doing this!

I would avoid 3-4 oz at a time for awhile...you can slowly irritate your tummy and start feeling it later.

There are alot of protien drinks that are not chalky...give several kinds a try.

Lean shake (I think its called that) has a truly awesome strawberry and you can get it out of the cooler in pre-mixed bottles at GMC.

I really like the chocolate ones from GNC they are awesome

I am two weeks n half weeks out from my post op! I have not gained or loss either but my clothes are fitting loose now! Hopefully I will start losing again! Looking forward to the scale going down as well as my clothes
