    Talking Myself Out Of It!

HellO! I'm 2 weeks post op, I had ZERO pain at all after my surgery. I had some complications during the surgery so the Dr had to stitch up the stomach all the way, even with this complication, there was no pain at all. Mainly just discomfort. Don't worry about the pain, I think you should remind yourself why you chose this surgery in the first place. Everything else is all worth it! For a healthy lifestyle the rest of your life, this 1 day stay in the hospital is no biggie. Good luck and I pray for you! Hope to hear from you after your surgery! Gwynne

    Dizzy/ Blackouts

Hi All, Thanks for the advice! my Dr gave me some B complex today. I feel better I think... I forgot to check my pressure though.. I'll keep an eye on it... Thank you!
  4. Hi All, I'm nearly 2 weeks PO lost 22lbs and has been experiencing dizziness and temporary blackouts when I walk. Bright lights hurt too. My concentration is low, response is slow too. I can't walk as much as I'd like. I get tired really easily and my shoulders starts to ache ( i think due to low energy) The thing is, I'm diabetic, and very conscious about my blood sugar, so far, my BS has gone down tremendously, and occasionally slightly, just very slightly high, otherwise, normal. SO i conclude it is not hypoG. What's going on? I'm kinda worried. Also, I fear eating anymore because the rate i'm eating. my BS is normal, I worry that if i eat anymore, my BS will go up, and I really don't want to be on diabetic meds again.... Pls enlighten me... Thank you!
  5. Hi I think i know what you're referring to. I conclude it's because I sit/lay down too much, and always at the same position since I'm afraid to move. Occasionally, i'll go onto the massage chair, and try to move as much as I possibly can, like standing while watching TV etc. It's a lot better now that I can sleep on my sides... BUt I still feel it every time i lay on my back.. Are we talking about the same pain here? Lol!!

    ~April Sleevers~

I'm 4/21/2012! Dropped slightly more than 10lbs now. I've been struggling, one day feeling good, the other feeling really weak... Like today, was going to collapse while walking.. I really have no appetite to get any food in... Cant find any buddy to meet up in Singapore.. Was hoping to get some support from this forum! Cheers everyone!
  9. HI Bellatrix, I had the same problem you did. I threw up black stuff the minute i woke up after sedation and the nurses told me its dried blood.. it was horrible. I basically slept through the first day... every time they change the drip to glucose, i thought i'm well and am able to go for a jog, WRONG! the minute they take glucose off, i died.... lol Anyhow, glad to know you're better and going home!! Let's GO April slivers!!
  10. Hi Jocy, wow wow wow !! 25lbs for 9 days post op, CONGRATULATIONS!! You are right, it is the brain playing games, and honestly, Sometimes I think we should sleeve our brain instead of the stomach! lol Anyway, it's really tough now.. I'm struggling every other minute.. Not knowing if I am hungry, know i have to eat even though I have no appetite, think of the Protein shake and wanna puke, arggghhh!!! SO ANNOYING... can't wait to be normal again...
  11. Hi you all, How do you guys cope? I'm 5 days out, and when i see my family eat, I salivate! I'm so looking forward to eating normal food. But of course, i stuffed with just 100mls of lite Protein shake.. for now i guess? I see a lot of you eating real healthy for months, and i'm really envious, how you guys cope.. I'm still learning, still new to my sleeve.... Hope i have the strength like all of you!! Good Luck to all!
