  9. I'm having my surgery on Friday, April 20th and right now i have a little walking/ calisthenics routine. Now i know your supposed to walk ASAP after from what my doc tells me but how soon will i be able to get back into calisthenics (pushups, crunches, dips)? or weights? and how did it feel the first time back to those types of workouts? (any pain involved or restriction)? Please let me know because I'm ready to live this new life, swagg this sleeve, and get to my goal...
  10. I think you should go back to the basics, full liquids and just try to let your stomach heal a little longer... take it easy, you will make it and we're all here for you.
  11. my doctor is so strict he has us on pretty much the preop diet (im still pre op) for 4 weeks after surgery, and then pureed for 2, then soft for 1,,,, so ur definitely Lukki..
  12. 2 weeks. im on day 11 and its not that bad anymore. more mental than physical..
  13. WE CAN DO IT!! i'm preop too, on day 11, and it gets easier, just stay busy and try to pass the time... if you think about how wonderful it will be to be free from thiis prison we know as hunger, it seems to get better. We are all hear with you... don't forget- anybody can do it, if LukkiDuzIt
  14. Reaching your weight goal is kind of like being rich vs being wealthy. It's not how much money you make, its how long you make and maintain that money... this also applies to losing weight. Keep on pushing, and congrats for those 52 pounds closer to your goal. BLESS, Success, and Good Lukk. -Lukki
  15. I love propel zero and powerade zero, once you break the caffeine habit, these two will be lifesavers, especially through your preop diet.. BLESS, SUCCESS, and Good Lukk. don't forget - anybody can do it, if LukkiDuzIt.
  16. When i left the sleep study the nurse didn't remove all of those sticky sensor things so i had to tear hairs out pulling them off when i got home and yea, not the best sleep in the world...BLESS.
  17. It's no need for someone to invade your personal space like that and make you feel uncomfortable. Be really vaguee with them, just say your changing your life and taking control of your health. If they ask more than that then tell them by using whatever tools are available to you.. If they ask anymore than that you should just let them know that your doing what you have to do and don't wanna talk about all your business out there. Make sure you set that boundary real clear. And do your thing.. BLESS, SUCCESS, and Good Lukk - Lukki
  18. LMAO i'm a man in full but your welcome all the same.. - Lukki
  19. I think you should set your goal at something your mentally comfortable with... by that i mean that your thinking, "it will be hard, but i definitely know that its possible"... set your goal just enough so that its scary but not to the point where your not excited about the actuality of it... also something that you could comfortably maintain theoretically.. you say that 150 would be fine.. set it at 140.. push yourself and work your sleeve and i know you can make this happen. without a doubt. You will be surprised at what you can do with the right attitude and a tool of this caliber.. BLESS, SUCCESS and Good Luck -Lukki
  20. You know I should've waited to think about it, but when i went to go to the consultation i knew my decision and i knew i would be happier with it and i was excited about making the decision so i told some of my cousins and family members... bad idea. Now all they wanna do is talk to me about the complications and how i don't need it or treat me like im pitiful or weak, when really i'm just human.. It's definitely your choice, but just know that saboteurs exist, and that everyone has 2 cents that they'd love to chip in. My advice is pick the ones you know love and support you and your decisions. Leave the rest in the dark. BLESS and good luck.
  21. I never had the headaches or migraines but i know the doc said i could only have tylenol from the start of the pre-op diet, until the time of surgery or they would reschedule it because there could be complications so just be careful... and i know we will all make it! BLESS and good luck..
