Has anyone found a change in their urine color? Mine has been dark orange since the surgery' date=' even while in the hospital on IV. At first, I shrugged it off as just 'body's in shock,' etc., but I'm on Day 7 post-op now, and it's still dark.Of course, the obvious cause is dehydration. I've been drinking like a fiend...got in 60+ oz yesterday. Got 50+ oz the last three days. I don't "feel" dehydrated. I mentioned the color to both the surgeon and his nurse yesterday at my one-week post-op visit, as well as a nurse who called to do a follow-up, and everyone is saying the same thing. Drink, drink, drink.
No pain, no other real symptoms, per se, but weird.
Anyone else experiencing this, or ideas?
Thanks![/quote']
Im 4 mths out an mine is still dark even when i wipe it colours the paper.but im not dehydrated ?

I' date=' too, was sleeved Monday and I am experiencing what you have said to a T. I am definitely in the regret stage of this process. I can't drink warm or cold (especially cold) because it feels like an elephant standing on my stomach. I've been walking and having my husband beat on my back and that helps during that moment. If you find anything that helps, let me know and I will let you know if I stumble on any miracle help![/quote']
Try drinking gatorade.it got me through the first 2 weeks.

You cant get liquid in becouse of the swelling of the new stomach.iwas the same .each week it gets better in lots of ways.as for the gas take gas x and a liquid acid reducer.and walk lots.it will get better i can promise you that .youl be happy in a few weeks when the weight starts dropping off.its the best thing iv ever done money well spent .good luck think possitive.

Beware...I had a very nasty experience with compaction about 2 weeks out! It was like giving birth...so do yourself a favor and start taking a stool softener and some Fiber daily! Good luck!I can relate to this.my bowels was contracting on its own.like trying to get rid of it all.yuk disgusting lol

I am drinking water' date=' it just leaves me feeing uncomfortable. It is not refreshing as it was. Anything else is too sweet. Lemon aid is okay. May be I need to try different temps. Warm is better. I miss ice cold though.[/quote']
I lived off gatorade zero.cos everything else just tastes to sweet
