What doctor in bakersfield do you go to?

Does anyone know of a good doctor in bakersfield ca my insur no long covers the doctor that did the surgery and the insur told me to find one.

Starting at 236 in a 18 I'm 5"3 now 179 and I'm in a 12 -14. I would like to get to 130 but have been 179 for about a month

I layed on my side with a pillow on my belly. Hope that helps or try on your back. I also have read that people sleep on the couch.

Before I was banded the doctor told me he was going to put in the low profile one just cuz I wasn't that big. I will just ask my doctor the next time I see him which one i have and if its ok that it hurts all the time.

I got my band may 1st I have lost 54 pounds. So I sleep on my tummy and all day my port hurts and it fills like its right under my skin. Has anyone ever had surgery to put there port under the Muscle after they lost there weight? I still want to Lose 40 pounds and I'm worried that it will stick out and hurt worse.

I have the same problem I have nasty loose on my boobs and when I went to get new bras my skin went in my arm pit and the top. I can't wait till I get to my goal I'm getting new girls

I have a 14 cc band I'm at 9.5 cc and I have been having a hard time eatting I don't puke but I burp up my food a lot. Tonight my belly starts hurting really bad and I think it might be heart burn can burping up my food cause my band to slip?

I also sleep on my tummy what I did was put a pillow on my belly and then slept on my side. Hope that helps.

Oh this was the worst part about surgery I cried I was in so much pain I took meds drank nasty warm prune juice did a enama drank lots of Water and then my mom gave me se stool softer and that finally worked. Good luck!!

I had nothing in my band till my first fill then I got 4 cc. 2 nd fill 3 cc today 1cc I have a 14 cc band he only put one in today cuz I lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks:)

I have a 14cc band have had two fills 4cc the first and 3cc the 2nd.

Does anyone have a problem eating fruit? Every time I try I get sick I have a 14cc band and have had two fills so I'm at 7cc now. I chew really good and every time it comes back up.

I just got my first fill on June 7th and it didn't hurt at all. And my doctor doesn't even numb the spot.

Well it went good didn't hurt at all. They don't do the numbing shot so I was scared. They put 4 cc and go back in 2 weeks.

I will be getting my first fill tomorrow and I'm nervous. Does it hurt? Do all doctors numb it first? Just scared I watched you tube videos and should not have done that.

I never had a problem sleeping and I have it also. I'm only 27. It's not that bad I have the nose pillows and they aren't that bad.

Thanks everyone. I'm still in the mushy part of the diet so I try a ff string cheeses. Maybe I should try a Protein Shake. Before the band I used to eat the most at night so I think that's why I want to eat.

I was also banded on may 1st and I'm feeling the same way I do really good durning the day but at night I'm so hungry I feel like I can eat everything in my house. Ok so I haven't had my first fill yet not till June 7th. I do so good all day but at night I'm so hungry. I have tried having a snack but that still doesn't help. What can I do?

I felt the same way and also the first week of my surgey. It was so hard watching my family eat all the food I love to eat and only be able to drink clear stuff. It gets easier as time goes by. I'm just ready to be healthy and be able to do stuff with my family without hurting. Good luck!! And you can do it.
