Okay I am going to the doc for my 2 wk post op visit and I feel like there should be things I should ask him but can not think of anything...... What did you ask your surgeon?

Was sleeved on april 11 and down 22 pounds. Hit my first stall and it is driving me crazy! On the plus side....clothes are getting looser. Is it true that although I don't see the scale moving that inches may be melting away during a stall.

I do SF popsicles or sometimes when I don't want to look at another popsicle, I will suck on a SF candie like werthers.

I have a 17, 13, 9 and 7 year old. I was honest and said mom is having stomach surgery to help me be healthy. They have all been great. They like to "help" me with things. I explained I can't clean much,pick up stuff etc and they have been more then willing to help mom. Kids know more then you think they know. When I sat then down the night before my 9year old beat me to it. She asked how long I would be in the hospital before I got a chance to say anything. I would just be honest and if they tell anyone it will just be that mommy had surgery.

I am 11 days out. Finally found a shake I can tolerate..... Atkins. Ice cold. I am also doing pudding,yogurt,broths,cream soups and I kept very very finely shredded tuna fish down last night. It was from a can but I cut it up alot before adding the mayo. I was able to eat about 1/2 of a 3oz can. I am regaining energy and starting to feel like me again. I have lost 21 pounds so far and see my doc in another week. I do think I get heart burn now but it doesn't last and is completely random. I have gone back to cooking for my family, it was easier then I thought since I feel full, all the time!

Thats awesome! How long ago were you sleeved?

My doc used glue. My larger incision still hurts but the others are fine.

Does anyone else wake up sweating? I sleep in a nice cool room and wake up sweating? I have never had this happen to me and will it stop? Sleeved 4/11

I was sleeved on 4/11 and last night was the first night I was able to sleep in my bed! I have been sleeping in our recliner because I am so bloated and it was uncomfortable.....ah the little things

I don't see my surgeon until 4/30! I am struggling with fluids but working on it . Wish I could have tuna/chicken salad with lett and tomatoe on a cracker....lol. Protein is hard....I gag on the shakes! Going to look for something else tomorrow. I am down 13 pounds but again not getting everything in! Ugh

I couldn't take it anymore. It is uncomfortable when I turn over but I was up every 2 hours in that chair!!!! I just need a good night sleep. Lol. Congrats btw! How are you making out otherwise?

I like the Isopure grape flavor. Have not tried any other protein or nector shakes yet

Mine does to. I was sleeved 3 days ago. I just sent my sister for gas x. It's the only thing causing pain!

I am so happy to hear I am not crazy! I hear my kids pouring cereal and I miss it! I want an Oreo so bad I actually thought about blending it to get it down! I know I am still in the "liquid" phase since I am only 3 days out and i am not even hungry! I know it will get better....... Right ?!

I live in NJ. Southern Sicklerville area. I was sleeved in April 11 2012 at Kennedy Stratford by Dr Balsama.

I was sleeved on April 11th!!! I feel good other than the amount of trapped air I have in my abdomen. I feel full constantly and it is hard to get 60grams of protein in on clears. I look forward to puddings and mashed potatoes!!!
