Hi All, I have started swimming laps and I love it. Problem is I only have 1 swimming suit and it's not a very high quality one so I know it's going to wear out quick. I'm wondering if anyone has one that they would like to get rid of. Like I said, I'm swimming laps so one with either a cross back or some sort of back that keeps the straps from falling would be preferrable. Probably a size 20 but I have a long torso so a 22 might work too.

I am 8 weeks out and haven't thrown up at all. Had some dry heaves in the hospital right after surgery, but after that I've been all good!!

I answer this as I sit shivering in my office. I used to be the one saying "it's too hot in here" and sweating my way through the day. Now 8 weeks post op, I am the one that is too cold!! I look forward to going outside where it is 90 just to warm up!!

I flew from CA to CO for my sisters wedding exactly 2 weeks after surgery. I felt fine, no problems physically. I was staying with my sister and she was nice enough to have my Protein Shakes, cottage cheese, and yogurt on hand for me....which really helped. The only problem I had was I got a little dehydrated a couple of days because we were busy and I "forgot" I had to drink. You should be fine!!

DEFINITE Difference!!! You look great! Looks like you are losing your jowls!!

Yes ma'am!! My libido has increased dramatically since surgery. My hubby is currently loving life cause I'm jumping his bones every chance I get!! Part of it is the hormones being released but a bigger part of it is the weight loss has made me way more confident and I feel so much better about myself!! Not to mention the fact that I am more bend-y now...LOL!!

I've actually been asked that a few times. I am very tall and I guess I carry my weight well. Most people had no idea what I really weighed...and that's ok. I just took it as a compliment, but I still had my sleeve and 7 weeks later I know I made the best decision for me!!

Laura, I say count it as a victory!!! You didn't eat anything. If the worst you did was cuss at your husband and throw a napkin at him you did good! I have a husband and kids and I know it's hard!!! Give yourself a pat on the back and go take a hot bubble bath!!

Yep, me too! Myfitnesspal. I have the app on my phone so it makes tracking even little bits pretty easy.

I missed a few days, but it's a pretty small pill so I just swallowed it. I haven't had any problems with the 2 little pills I take.

I've been on it for 20 years. Didn't help any with weight loss but definitely helps the general tired feeling.

I have a few goals that I'm sure will bring me to tears...Getting to onederland and getting under a size 13 being top of the list. If I EVER make it to a size 8, I'll probably just pass out!!! Sounds like you are living the dream!!!

Hi Amber..you need to update your picture pretty girl!

Yes for me that's pretty normal. I'm hungry every 2-3 hours. BUT and this is a big BUT for me...just a few bites is enough for me to feel full. So even eating that often I'm still only getting about 800 calories which is WAY WAY less than I've ever been able to do before. Oh, I'm 6 weeks out

I ended up waiting over 2 years between the band and sleeve...not by choice. But it sounds like it was a good thing because I haven't had any problems!! Good Luck! It might be a slow progression but in the long run I'm sure you will be glad you did it!

Do a search on here...there are lots of us that went from band to sleeve one way or another. I had a band from 2008 to 2010 when it slipped and was removed. Now, I am 6 weeks out from my sleeve and it's a whole different experience. I haven't thrown up once! Not once! I can eat pretty much what I want to now, just in very small portions and the little portions actually fill me up! The sleeve is everything I wanted the band to be! Good Luck!!!

LOL....Pixie, I'm a Mom too and all I could think was that's the look my son (who is now 21) got in his eyes when he was about to get into trouble!!! I think playing on the train tracks is just the beginning of the trouble he's ready to get into!!
Sleeve 2.5months before wedding?

Well I am 10 weeks out and I feel great!! I have had no complications at all. I can tolerate pretty much anything I eat, and I have lots of energy! I flew from CA to CO 2 weeks after surgery and was fine. I know others have had complications and of course that is always a possibility. But based on my experience you will be fine!! But you may have to get your wedding dress altered
