  1. So it begins....I had to change my PCP because my previous doctor had a diet program she wanted me to pay out of pocket. Long story short I told her I wanted bariatric surgery and she refused it completely because she thought her program is better than surgery. Now I have my new PCP and he got right down to business he told me he would send me for the sleep apnea test which he is sure I have and told me to stop by every month to do weight in. He finds this 6 month period a setback because my BMI is 51 at 280 pounds that alone should be considered for the insurance to approve so he told me just stop by get you weight in and at 6 month i will write you the letter don't worry Has anyone else had they're doctor due this for them??? He did advice me to try and lose some weight before surgery but really didn't give me anything to go by.
  2. Thank you so much guy this is one of the mayor concerns that I had but being in this forum has help set that aside. Like most of you said I rather be healthy and lose weight and worry about the sagging later lol can't wait to be sleeved
  3. I have not been sleeved so I'm not much help but this might help if you go out for pizza. When I was doing Atkins i use to get a slice of pizza with extra cheese and eat my pizza with a fork lol I know it sounds weird but what I did was eat the toppins with the cheese first and then have a nibble of the carbs. That way I enjoyed the flavors of the pizza with hardly any carbs and I could still eat with my friends hope this helps you a bit.
