  1. This is week 4 for me post op I was down 28 pounds and I've gained 5 back :( I hope this is whats happening to me since my time of the month is due on the first or second week of december :( I'm eating as I am told my Water intake give or take is 40oz a day and the Protein is welllll maybe 40 I can't do more than that hope this is going to work for me I'm have my 2nd check up tommorow.


  2. I'm Nov 5th also I have lost 26 pounds but since 5 days I have not lost a pound and even gained 1 pound i'm hoping my body figures things out soon because I don't want to get frustrated.

    I'm having trouble with liquids and Protein shakes I try to have my 3 puree/soft foods a day and drink as much as I can but the Proteins are so heavy is so hard to get them down I prefer diet juices and my favorite plain old Water. My 2nd check-up is on the 29th.

    PS: Is anyone feeling really thristy when they wake up and lightheaded before there Vitamins???

This is my first day back it feels kinda weird having to measure out food and liquids I'm in the soft stage and its so difficult to find foods I can eat I have to remember to bring lunch tommorow. So far I've had 1 scramble egg for Breakfast and 2oz mash potato with 1oz of very soft turkey breast. as of liquids I've done only 25oz I'm stuffed don't know how I can keep my Protein and liquids count for the day i'm 21 days post-op and I need advice because it's so hard to do.

    Another question have any of you guys had very dry mouth in the mornings and feel lightheaded before having your Vitamins is this normal??

    thanx guys I have tons of question but I don't want to overwhelmed with all of them but I do love this forum and want to keep in touch as much as I can :)


  4. Hi all im 15 days post op and im on the purse stage. Im really pruning out of ideas I started mash and sweet potato purse I did ham and cheese purse but I need some suggestions. Im worried because I started this stage and my weight loss is stalled and I gained a pound im 27 pounds down and im not sure if im doing something wrong.

    Today I think I messed up I had turkey chilling but since it was so soft I chewed the heck out of it and didn't purse it went down fine but im scared im doing this wrong. Any advise is appreciated.
