    The defining moment you knew

Honestly and this might be TMI but its the truth , When I could no longer reach to wipe my backside after using the restroom .... went and looked at some pics and noticed I looked like Jabba the hut and said enough is enough .... That was my turning point

Meli0808 here , love the support on mfp
  9. I told my Sons ( 20 yr and 15 yr ) my husband , mom and brother and that is it .... No one else needs to know in my opinion . I work out 4 times a week with a personal trainer and I eat well ... So I omit the surgery part and play on the workout and good eating habbits . Not too long ago my brother in law was talking about the lap band and saying I have no respect for losing weight that way ( with surgery ) which validated me not saying anything to anyone else .

    Hair loss concern......

I am 15 weeks out and having major hairloss , I am taking biotin and zinc and using Fall Fight shampoo and conditioner ... I have to admit it slowed it down a tad but still losing lots for my taste . My surgeon said it will happen as your bosy is still recouperating and taking all the vitamins from less important places like hair/ nails . However he said don''t worry you wont go bald ... It will start to grow back ...
  12. Thats GREAT SummerMarie .... Awesome loss , I was sleeved on 9/17 and I am teeter tottering between 46-49 weightloss so far ... In a stall right now but I am sure it will break soon , Your sucess is very motivating

    5 Confessions (Join In)

    1. I confess that I am happy I will never hear "you have such a pretty face "again ( as if that was a compliment ) 2. I confess that I still do not get the satisfied feeling even when my sleeve is full 3. I confess I get jealous reading how others mates can not keep their hands off them with the weightloss they have achieved ( my husand is very supportive but I want that sex monster to come out ) 4.I confess that even with a 45 ish pound weight loss I still see no change 5. I confess that I even with going 4 times a week I think to myself why bother going to the gym when I will lose something anyway .....smh
