    Great idea sleepyone! I tried a new recipe out today. I can't remeber who told me about it, but instead of mayo in your tuna add light cream cheese. I tried this today and was very good. I think the next time I'm at the store I'm going to buy flavored cream cheese and also try it with canned chicken also. great for a lunch served with wheat thins.

    breakfast 3oz yogurt 4 oz granola ceral lunch tuna 1oz cream cheese ( mixed into tuna) 1oz sweet relish ( mixed into tuna) wheat thin crackers 1 string cheese snack banana dinner 3 oz minute steak 2 oz green Beans 3 oz peachs snack fudgesicle I went to the gym for one hour did cardio for 30 minutes and strenght trained for 30 minutes also.

    Well ladies at least I know that three of us are following our dr. rules and really are wanting to lose the weight. come on, I know that there are others out there that want to lose weight. Please share with us your plans. We are here to help each other not to judge. Lets start helping!

    Ok I tried to post yesterday but I could not get this sight to open last night for me. so lets forget my menu yesterday because I don't remember other than I did fine. Here is todays. breakfast whoops no breakfast ran out of the house in a hurry lunch 1/2 a garden salad with raspberry vingerette dressing snack banana pear supper The other half of my garden salad with fat free western dressing 2nd supper (I guess this is ok since I didn't have breakfast) I had the toppings off of 2 pieces of pizza Suasage and mushrooms No gym today. My gym closes at 9 and I don't get off work until 930 tomorrow I'm working on getting my spare room cleaned up so I can use my treadmill

    Natalie I just wanted to let you know that the constipation will get better. I was just like you. I started eating regular food on wednesday and I finally had a regular bowel movement that didn't hurt and cause a lot of pain for me today. I was at the point that I didn't even want to try because it hurt so bad. So i'm praying that it will get better for you also. I also am taking a bowel softner every other day like the dr. told me to, until I know my bowel movements are normal again. I hope that gives you a piece of mind.

    Well how did your Dr. appt go? did you get a fill? Has any one from our May group recieved a fill yet? If so please post and let us all know please.

    I had a great day ladies and how about you? Breakfast 1 egg 2 pcs turkey suasage lunch bratwurt 3oz 2oz peas 2oz watermelon dinner hamburger 3oz 2oz peas 2oz watermelon snack string cheese fudgesicle 30 minutes on the treadmill 30 minutes strenght training And I'm proud of my self because I was thinking I didn't want to go to the gym but I talked my self into it.

    I really enjoyed zumba! I was always going the opposite way as every one else but it is lots and lots of fun. I had just posted to Natalie that I was wanting to find a zumba class again. You will diffently get a work out at zumba and it is a great time. Take a towel with you, you will sweat.

    I want to do this with you! I have been wanting to do this forever. I bet it is lots of fun! I love dancing, I need to find a zumba class around here and a place to teach me belly dance also.
  12. You are fine! I think every one is just differnt. I'm like you, I eat every 4 to 5 hours and I eat the amount my nutrient told me to eat. I have never been hungry and some times I can not eat all of my food. I was banded on May 2. I also worried about how I was going to feel when they put liquid in my band. But my surgery was 4 weeks ago and I don't get a fill until June 27. I have notice that I'm getting hungry now right around my 3 1/2 hrs instead of my 5th hour. So I think by the time I get my fill it will be needed. We will all have to sit back and find out. But I'm sure our Dr's know what they are doing. just follow your dr instructions and you will be fine.

    Today I was way off on my proteins. I'm so afraid of my hair falling out and my nails stop growing. I'm trying to really watch my protein. I notice my lunch was really bad I only had 135 calories and 12 proteins. I'm going to have to start paying more attention, I'm tired of my protein shakes and I would rather eat something than to keep drinking the protein shakes. How are you ladies doing on getting your protein in? I also think I need to add more veg and fruit to the diet. I'm so confused on how to get every thing in but to stay within a certain calorie average.

    Hello ladies glad to see more people joining us. When ever your ready just post! Ok I'm sorry I get lazy or is it busy on the weekends and fail to add my day. Sorry I will try to get better and if I don't please yell at me! Ok here is Tuesday 5/29/12. Hey you will also notice that I'm back to normal foods and done with mushies for now. Breakfast 3 oz yogurt 1/2 granola lunch chicken budding meat 1 string cheese mozeralla dinner 3oz chicken breast with bbq sause about 1 tbsp breakstone 100 cal pack of cottage cheese with peaches snack chicken bratwurst (Seen I was way off on Protein and calories. So I had a chicken bratwurst leftover from the weekend) fudgesicle Exercise 1 hr of strenght training at the gym

    Breakfast 1 boiled egg ( never again, It was way to dry to eat, I wanted to cry) banana lunch 1/2 of a chicken tomatoe/ herb bratwurst 1 large tbsp potatoe salad 1 large tbsp baked Beans snack 2 pc of my daughters hot dog supper 1/2 of a chicken tomatoe/ herb bratwurst 1 large tbsp potatoe salad 1 large tbsp baked beans snack fudgesicle no exercise to speak of, other than I rode my bike for 5 minutes when I got upset becuase my mother and husband was arguing about the grill. nit picking as usally at each other. I am proud of my self though. usally I try to fix things and this time I told them to figure it out for their selves and leave me out of it. and I went rode my bike instead of reaching for food. yah for me!

    Spouse Won't Eat

    Any one else having problems with their spouse not eating. My dear husband will not eat in front of me because I am on mushies and he feels bad for me so he doesn't want to make it worse on me so he won't eat. I keep telling him that I am fine and that I made this decision my self.

    What Does Full Feel Like To You?

    I think when I'm full, I have like a air bubble that starts between my breast and goes up until I finally burp and than it is a relief and I stop eating at that point. Some times it is like a very big, no huge air bubble and it really hurts. I have in the pass just kinda stop and take a grip and stop breathing until the bubble finally releases. I think it is going to be differt for almost every body. I think it is going to be one of those things that we are just going to have to sit back and wait. I also have a hard time in the mornig feeling tight. I usally try to take my medicines first thing in the AM and than I have to wait about 30 min, before I can eat Breakfast. I can't not take my medcine and eat breakfast all together or I will get that air bubble in my chest.

    I like this! Great we will call this the recipe exchange page. Ok a while back some one suggested to use laughin cow cheese to mix with a can of shredded chicken and it was really good.

    My dietican told me to try them. Some people do fine with them and some don't, It just depends on the person.
  24. Counting my pre op and the three weeks today since surgery. I've lost 25lbs!
