    I think it depends on the surgeon and your needs. I was sleeved on Friday and didn't have a drain. I am still pretty bloughted. I actually gained weight after the surgery. My coworker who introduced me to Dr. E didn't have a drain either. She did go home with a pain pump, where I did not. My pain level was minimal where hers was bad.

    I would agree. I had my surgery Friday and woke up with a pain level of 2. Off pain meds the morning after. Still haven't gone to fill my pain meds at the pharmacy. I am pretty much good.

    Aw, I am sorry you are having a hard time. You have a right to tell or not tell whoever you want. I wouldn't worry about people talking, you can't control people they will always talk. Only worry about you think. I have a told my department at work and a few work friends as well. I kind of wish I hadn't but who really cares. I am about to be hot, healthy and phenomenal so the haters can kick rocks. Good luck with your sleeve.

    Have you tried Isopure non dairy drinks,Nectar Protein or unjury unflavored powder. I bought them all pre op and they aren't bad. I am sipping on isopure right now for my liquid diet.

    I have the same elliptical and I do that too with my iPad I couldn't get a flimsy one because of my weight. I got it off of eBay refurbished from California.

    I am so sorry for your loss literally. I am not sleeved yet(June 15) but I am so scared about this side effect. I just posted about the same subject yesterday. Try some biotin and Nixon shampoo. I hope things get better soon. Good luck on your weight loss.
