Apparently some of us have a very uneventful experience. Welcome to the group. I woke up in so little pain I was convinced I hadn't been sleeved. I made the nurse read my chart. I never filled my pain script from the hospital. I guess we are just lucky or More so blessed. If only I could get the chewing thing. Two small bites and I am full. -

I know exactly how you feel. I was sleeved on the 15th and I am getting the same questions. I hear the disappointment when I say 10 lbs or so. I lost 10 on the pre-op diet so I total 20 or so total but I swear people expect you to be skinny by the next time you see them.

There is something in ispure that gets stuck in the back of my throat. Its more than an aftertaste. Its like the Protein sticks there. Totally disgusting. -

Premier Protein is the only drink I like post surgery everything else has a disgusting whey smell. They sell chololate and vanilla at Sams Club. -

It was on my postoperative food list. Sugar free nonfat. I am on day 14. You could add a scoop to some powder and make a yummy shake. -

I had surgery 6.15.12. I had 5 days clear liquids, and 6 days full liquids. 2 more days an on to puréed. I cannot wait. I have puréed for 5 days then soft foods. Can't wait for regular foods. -

I am 7 days postop and I think I only lost two pounds. I've decided to leave the scale alone. The only thing I can think is that I am retaining fluids. I am barely getting 400 calories. I am going to get more fluids in. -
I bought a golds gym elliptical and it was so cheap and creaky. I got it from Walmart and gave it away for free. I always felt like I was too big for it. It creaked even though it had been oiled. I eventually bought a refurbished lifefitness elliptical online. So much better. I want a treadmill next.

June 2012 Sleevers Post Op Check In

Sleeved on the 15th with three incisions, very minimal pain actually asked nurse if I had been sleeved. Walking around next day, sleeved friday discharged saturday. No gas pains or drain. Blouted next day. Back driving sunday. Phenomenal experience. No problem drinking, focusing on hydration getting about 50 or so grams of proteins, taking flinstones complete, b12, d3 and biotin. -

I am glad to hear you are doing well. I left the hospital on Saturday. I woke up from surgery with a pain level of 2. I was extremely blessed.
