  1. Omg Candy! I LOL'ed sitting at my desk at work! Laugh of the day! If the smell doesn't go away..I would be checked out by your OBGYN...it never hurts to get checked out and really that's what they are there for!! I know they don't recommend douching, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do you know what I mean?? I didn't notice an odor after my surgery..but I had a hysterectomy before my surgery so that's maybe why. If I had my uterus and ovaries, iit may have been different! Good luck to you ..I hope your issue resolves soon!
  2. Ok ..here's my thoughts... 1) I let my husband have full access to everything I do online and vice versa ..if you are trying to hide something..it's wrong. 2) I don't discuss anything online with anyone that I wouldn't discuss with my hubby..if I did ..it's wrong. 3) Refer to the above rules and you should be fine! Online support can be fun and helpful..but always remember the ones in front of you, living, breathing, touchable..are most valuable to you! Pretty much what everyone else said!
  3. Sigh..I'm gonna have to reread my threads before I send..I hate this phone..sorry about the typos..I can hold an intelligent conversation in person..but apparently not online!
  4. You go that right..I had a Dr. Friend of line try to talk me out of it because she has a patient not do well with her "bypass" which I explained was not what I was having ..and now..she sees she was wrong..oh well..that was off the thread's subject...but that wast two cents worth! Lol
  5. What a strong, beautiful young lady you are. I have been obese most of my adult life and now at 39 years old I had the courage to change. How awesome are you tht you made this decision at a younger age and can preent damage to yourself! Hang in there..the first weeks are the hardest and it will get better and better as you give yourself time to heal, recover, and get on with life uninhibited by your weight because it will no longer be holding you back! Remember, we are all here ..reach out and someone here will help! Good luck to you!!!

  7. Wow! Big transformation! Like a caterpillar into a butterfly! Keep up the great work!
  8. I became instantly lactose intolerant and had to use light soy milk instead of skim milk and the gas and horrible diarrhea subsided ..try that and see if it gets better..and as always call your dietitian!
  9. Hey KiKi I ha chills all the time without fever. I used to sweat all the time..now I am cold all the time, so I think it's normal. Just make sure you aren't runnin a temperature. It's normal..I just got a heating blanket and put it on 7 and stayed toasty throughout the night..it gets better though..I don't get as cold as I used too. I was sleeved 4/3 so it takes a bit of time to adjust! Good luck!

My hubby and I are huge football fans but our school is in a world of dookie donk right now and rightfully so..penn state ..is where my hubby went to school..we used to fly up for games..and we are just disgusted..and sadden by it all..it will never, ever be the same there...August just won't be as exciting as years in the past!
  15. I soooo can relate to the plane thing..I just few weeks ago at the end of June and didn't need an extender either...awesome feeling isn't it??!!!!!! And my butt didn't spill over into my daughters seat...not that it ever bothered her because she is a twig and could have two obese people sitting next to her and still would have room to spare..I just noticed I fit..and that felt good! Keep up the good work..it only gets better!!!!
