Just wanted some thoughts about yoga? Has anyone incorporated it into your exercise routine? Has it helped you tone up? Any thoughts advice would be greatly appreciated!
  2. You know Catracks..that may be a good substitute ..I could make my pudding with soy milk and I do have the sugar free syrup at home now..sprinkle with a tiny bit of salt and I think you could be on to something there..will definitely try that..thanks for the idea!!
  3. Yes..I now have ankles...not cankles
  4. Oh yes....this one is the best yet. I had to go to my daughter's middle school for a meet and greet thing with the school..meet the teachers...follow her class schedule..ect. In the past, I would have stood along the wall because I couldn't fit into the desk. Well not anymore! I plopped right down ...take that middle school desk..you're my middle school desk b**** now! (thanks Dooter..now everything I do..I exclaim it's my blah blah blah b***** lol)
  5. Another beautiful inspirational picture!
  6. Beautiful! I hope I will have similar results.
  7. Keep up the fantastic work! It will be worth it in the end!
  8. Thanks Kathy! I realized that I hadn't updated my information in awhile after mentioning 73#. I don't know how to update my profile on my iPad or iPhone so I logged onto my computer..I am down 89# which is terrific! I have to remember to update often on my laptop! And yes..none of us is perfect, but you can believe I probably will just look and smell the flan for now..lol
  9. You look great, and I bet you feel even better!
  10. That is outrageous! And normally, I would ask you not to blame the wait staff...however, in this instance, it seems justified. They didn't have to push the split button. That is wrong ! I think I would have to pass on going to that place again.
  11. Ok..,so we all fall off the wagon...so last night..my daughter is having some flan...that stuff is like mermaids signing a siren's song to a horny sailor to me...love it... Anyway...I keep telling myself...don't touch it...it's milk(I am lactose intolerant since having my surgery)...."You'll regret in the morning"!!!! I find myself saying.."just one bite won't hurt...just one". So course..one bite I took...and what do you know...it went down great...tasted even better. So what do I do but have another bite...then another...then another...and stop...4 small bites. Sigh..while this is certainly less than I would have ever done in the past, I felt satisfied. But the story doesn't end there....oh no..not there...today....I sound like an old mule out in the fields...my gut sounds like an alien has taken up residence and I dare not pass gas for fear I will shart instead! Oh flan...why must you be kryptonite!!!! Alas, it is karmic justice for my failure. *wipes a tear while rushing to the bathroom* So what did I learn...morale to the story you ask? Just stick to the diet and all will be well...my litte incendent encounter wasn't worth all of this!!! And remember..we all fail sometimes. Nobody is perfect!
  12. Honestly, I just prefer the feel of a man bare. You don't have to bother with stopping and putting it on...you just get on with business. And since I have no uterus or ovaries and I am married, I won't have to worry with pregnancy or STD...the last one I better not....lol.
  13. LOL...it was a lot of bleeding!!!
  14. I agree! My digital scale was a huge help in the beginning!
  15. Yes the wider part goes in the back part of the panty..it should be towards your buttocks. You will be glad you did invest in a heating pad!!!! As far as brands go, when I was in high school and not fat, I really liked the Always brand. As I got bigger, I had to switch to Kotex because the Always pads have that plastic mesh on them that wicks away the blood, and in turn would gaud the crap out of my buttocks when I wore them, so I switched Kotex and that problem was eliminated. You'll find a brand you like, just buy small packs of different brands until you find one you are comfortable in. I always had to wear the maximum absorbent tampons with an overnight pad to take care of my business. My coworkers were ever so happy when I brought my left over pads after my hysterectomy..the products filled one large kitchen trash bag..yes that was a months supply for me. I would use a 12 pack of mega Charmin for 1 period every month by myself...it was awful...I just hope and pray my daughter does not suffer the same fate. Good luck! Do try that Alleve or Midol if your Tylenol doesn't work and get that heating pad!
  16. Plate, utensil, or other kitchen device that helps you stay on your diet? Mine is my Longaberger Pottery coffee cup. Half of the coffee cup is 1/4 to 1/2 cup depending on the food I put in it. It's perfect portion control for me. Anybody else have a favorite they would like to share?
  17. I know this is awful to say but I hate condoms! Thank God I don't do the dating scene anymore. The only reason I can think for using two methods of bc would be because the only method that is 100% fail proof is abstinence.
  18. And just wait....which brand of pad or tampon will be your brand will be the next hard question to answer!
  19. Wonderful! Isn't funny how things work out! I had endometriosis with PCOS and had the opposite problem..how do you bleed 72 days straight and not die??? LOL(oh well I sure felt like I was anyway I digress) but always without fail, I had diarrhea right before my cycles, so I understand! You will get used to your body telling you when it will start to cycle. I have to say though while I am very happy you are happy to be experiencing this, I am more happy I got mine all taken out! I love it when a doctor ask me when was your last menstrual period, and I proudly say February 28th, 2010! I get confused looks..then get ask how was the hysterectomy.....lol. Oh and as Aliemm said, you can try Midol for pain, I always preferred Alleve..back in the day, that wasn't an OTC med, and I had to get a prescription for it..So that should give you a clue to my age!! Alleve always worked better for me for cramps. You try different meds and see which one works for you, and a good heating pad will be your BFF! Good luck!
