  1. Birth Control
  2. I was stalled for about 2 weeks, 2 weeks post-op. It was so frustrating. Then when I got to eat full liquids, it was if the scale started moving up. I freaked out and called my doc. They said it's normal and it will pass. As of yesterday, I finally started to see the scale move and it's such a great feeling. I was sleeved Aug 6 and I think it's more inches off my waist then the pounds that's keeping me motivated.
  3. I was told by my doc to use 2 forms of BC after surgery, which isn't a prob... even though it kinda stinks. My question is how long do I need to use more than one? My doc didn't really explain that well. I tried to look it up but came out unsuccessful. Thank you!
  4. Thank you. It makes me feel normal, considering everything the past few weeks is anything but.
  5. I also only needed to be on a clear liquid diet the day prior only. The day before that was a family reunion and I ate quite a bit. My surgery went just fine with no problems. You'll be just fine.
  6. I had surgery Aug 6th. It's been a few days and I'm stuck, weight wise. I haven't lost anything for a few days and have slowly added 2 pounds back. I'm still on a liquid diet that's consisted of cream soup and water. I'm exercising about 35 min daily and nothing... Is this normal? I plan to check with my nurse tomorrow but I'm antsy...

  8. Thanx guys. I'm also trying to add protein and this is going to be a tough battle ahead.
  9. I am 4 days post op and having a really hard time. The incision pain is terrible on top of my abdomen just plain sore. I had to quit taking Lortab because it was making me nasious. I've been sleeping almost all day because I'm physically drained. I know I didn't hit my fluid quota yesterday and I'm struggling again with it today. How bad is it if I don't get all my fluids? Mostly because I've been sleeping. Help! I'm really starting to regret the surgery
