  1. Thanks! I feel happy now. My hubby loved me no matter what size I got..but bless him...he didn't marry me looking like that. So unfair to him and my daughter. But, all I can do is to continue to be better for me and them!
  2. That's just freaking sexy and awesome...like a gift from Victoria's Secret!
  3. Thank you! I am going to continue the fight!
  4. 17 grams for 11 oz of ready to feed product
  5. Love them! The only flavors I dislike are the Rich Dark Chocolate and Cafe Caramel. My thumbs up go to Strawberry Cream, French Vanilla, & Chocolate fudge ..drink 2 everyday!
  6. Hi I am lactose intolerant from surgery and could tolerate Unjury protein powder..google it for more information. I mixed my shakes up with Light Soy milk ..it had 27 grams of protein for an 8 oz shake when all was done. I am 6 months out and can tolerate small amounts of milk now without having explosive diarrhea within 5 minutes of drinking it. I also enjoy the EAS Advantedge Carb Control..and while it does contain some milk..I don't think it's enough to bother with because I have been drinking it since 1 month out and tolerated it fine.
  7. Thanks! You just wait..I was there not so long ago! It will come!
  8. Amen..only a big person would understand that!
  9. Take a deep breath and relax. All will be fine!
  10. Thank you!!!! I am trying very hard to stay on track! I am finding I actually like jogging...me freaking jogging...I thought hell froze over!!!
  11. Well..now I have heard of a doubting Thomas..but not a jumping Jesus ..although I bet he jumped at some point in his life...LOL!
  12. Thanks everyone! I have more road to travel, but I am amazed at where I started and how far I have come. Really, it is matter of doing what you are told by your weight loss team. It will come! Slow and true will win the race!
  13. Thank you ladies! Sometimes I think I am not changing ..then I remember to pull out pictures and shock the crap out of myself..LOL!!!
  14. Ok, so here I am posting one day early because I won't be able to do it tomorrow. I have lost 103# since April 3rd. I post my picture with a mix of emotions. I feel embarassed, ashamed, sadden, and disgusted that I didn't realize just how bad I let myself go. Here I am the day before surgery. In looking at myself, I want to seriously cry. I feel sorry for myself, my husband, and my daughter. All those wasted years. And here I am ...the old, new me...103# lighter, full of life! A proper mother, a proper wife, a human being begining to live again...I am thankful for my journey. I have more to go, but I am on my way. A caterpillar still in my cocoon. One day, I will emerge as that butterfly I always was on the inside! For those of you who are working toward this surgery, it isn't easy, but it most certainly, definitely works. I have my life and myself back.
  15. Yeah..I know. But for now..I have asked my administrator to leave it while I am on my journey. So when I begin to doubt myself, want to eat something I shouldn't, or just put myself down like I used to, all I have to do is look down and see just how far I have come. But, I know that my picture change is coming soon, because people aren't recognizing me anymore!!
  16. In two days I will post my 6 month anniversary pic...but for now I wanted to show what I can wear. Since I have lost..I can now wear cute scrubs and not pay an arm and a leg for them!! My sleeve is working its magic!
  17. I honestly hadn't thought about hydration status . That is probably it..I wasn't on my normal schedule. Thanks for the reminder!? I have been very consistent with my vitamins
  18. Ok I am almost 6 months out. I was cheering at my daughter's soccer game and they won the championship game. I jump up, raise my arms above my head, scream, and begin to feel faint. I sat down immediately and got better. Anyone experience this? I haven't. I am afraid it's my heart..weakened maybe. I sure hope not. Anyway..I plan on going to my PCP to check on it. Anyone else experience this?
