  1. I had my surgery on march 22, 2012 and have went from 305 to.... 256!!! Still a lot more to lose, but love trying on clothes that used to be too tight or going to a regular store and can buy a xl instead of a 2xl! I'm eating regular food and holding it down. I'm making healthier choices and feeling great. I'm so glad I got sleeved!

  2. I miss food!!! BUT I will not miss going to the plus size section for clothes or feeling like being looked at or not being able to see my toes or tie my shoes without losing my breath. I will be able to play more with my kids, do more things that my husband enjoys, and just live happier. We can still eat, but a very small amount. I'm 2 weeks and 3 days out down 35 pounds and am gaining more energy every day. I actually enjoy being outside now and am actually wearing shorts! I wouldn't for a whole because I couldnt find any that fit. I cried right before I had it done, but I know it was the right choice!

  3. I hate to admit this but.... I was supposed to be on a 2 week full liquid diet. I did it perfect for 5 days. Then I had an emotional breakdown with some issues at home and cheated. I only ate foods high in Protein and low carbs. Then 3 days before surgery I went back to the liquid diet. I wouldn't cheat if the surgery was less than 3-4 days away. Honestly dont cheat. You will feel bad about it if you do. You can do it!!!

  4. Ok guys!!! I had all of those feelings!!! I felt guilty for doing it and kind of vain. No one understands how we feel unless they have been there. I had my surgery March 22 and left the hospital weighing 295. My highest weight was 305. I am two weeks and one day out and am down to 271!!! It is amazing. I had lots of pain after surgery and thought it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Lol I cried and yelled at my husband for eating my favorite foods in front of me. I had to stay in the hospital an extra day because I was sickly tired and in major pain. I've had two c sections and this was much worse for me. The doctor told me it was because I am younger and the muscles in my stomach are having a harder time recovering because they are tighter than someone older. I am slowly betting my energy back and my sadness about food has eased tremendously. I am very satisfied with my sleeve! I could have never dieted and got down to 160 on my own. Got a way to go, but it will be here before I know it!!!

  5. My dr wants me to stay at 600-800 cal per day for at least a year so you may want to watch your calorie intake. I am a process operator at a plant and tried on my nomex yesterday for the first time since surgery and oh my gosh!!! A big big difference. A lot so in my belly. I have had two babies in two years and swore my stomach had a lot of Fluid retained and now my husband finally believes me! Lol still weighing everyday even though y'all said not to! scale is it 272.8!!! Stall seems to be easing up. I'm ready to be skinny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I'm thinking a lot of it is Water weight. Everyone is telling me they can tell losing inches but when the scale doesn't move it is depressing. Congrats to everyone! How are y'all feeling? I am so amazed at how little I can eat. I made some scrambled eggs and ate them for the first time and was done after only a couple of bites!!! I am holding everything down so far. Gaining energy back surely but slowly.

  7. I was sleeved on march 22nd. I have lost 30 pounds on the dot and am at 275. The scale has not moved in 5days!!! Has anyone else had this problem? It's so depressing. I get up every morning and it was fluctuated from 277 to 274. What is going on!!! I don't see how I'm not losing because I'm barely eating anything! :-(
