Today is the 1-year anniversary of my surgery. I am glad that I made the decision. I had a great surgeon, my surgery went well and I have had reasonably good results. So far, I have lost approximately 134lbs. Within a week of my surgery, I was able to go off of my high blood pressure medicine. My blood pressure is now normal. Overall, I really feel so much better than I did a year ago today.

I enjoyed trying on clothes at Torrid today. I used to be just over their size range, but now I can fit into their stuff. It was cool when the size 24 shorts that I tried on were too big. I'm not in the market to buy anything, but I wanted to see where I was when it came to sizes.

I survived my first post op visit with my surgeon. Everything is going well. He seems pleased with my progress. I love their scale. It was 2lbs less than my home scale. The plastic coverings are off & the steri-strips just need to fall off on their own. I'm happy.

I had my surgery on 2/22. I just got home from the hospital. This is really hard, but I'm trying.
