I had surgery on the 27th of September and I started back on my Jillian Micheals 30 day shred on Monday. I was 11 days post op. I wasn't careful with the ab workouts and I had one incision start to bleed on the second day. I'm trying to be more careful now. -

My brother was banded 3 years ago. He's shorter than you by 4 inches, but had the same BMI. He has lost it and kept it off this whole time! He swims every morning with a club swim masters team (m-f) and does team sorting on horse back on the weekends. He also ropes. I know you'll do as great as him! -
I'm basically doing it here from home. I'm just following the myfitnesspal guild lines that I worked out with my nutritionist. No matter what eating plan you follow, you must write it down or log it. Seeing it all laid out (like a bank account) will help you see what you need and what you have to work with.

I've finally decided to name my band. She's only a week old, but it came to me as I was doing my hair today... Her name shall be know from here on out as Bon Qui Qui! Because I know she will "cut me" if I treat her bad. She will tell me "don't make me get crazy" if I eat too much or the wrong thing. I know she's going to be a good friend. Happy Band Naming!

Hang in there. It does get better. I promise! I'm 8 days post open and last week was awful. But you'll turn a corner soon. Just Hang In There! Right now I'm laying on the couch because I took my liquid vitamins too fast and I feel like I'm gonna barf! I'm waiting for it to pass so I can go walking. -
