  1. Congratulations on your success. Now take the time to enjoy it. You said that before you could just grab clothes and go. Take a few minutes in the dressing room to try the clothes on, that is part off the fun. I love it when I take in different sizes and get surprised when the smaller size fits. My me, it's like taking time to smell the roses. And yes, it does since surreal at times because my brain is still trying to process the change.

  2. I wanted to add that I am so proud of myself :) some people may think this is an easy way out but it isn't this is very hard at first knowing it will soon get easier makes it even better. Wishing everyone else good luck on your own band journey !! An thanks in advance for looking at my results.

Thank you for posting your pictures. They are so inspiring. You look great. I am proud if you. IT DOES GET BETTER!!!!!

  3. Thank you Lose100.Iim so glad I've found you all :)

My surgeon Mr Super gave me 1ml at surgery' date=' no one has contacted me since to speak to me about how I'm feeling, next appointment, a fill or anything, is this just the UK way????

I would call the surgeon's office and ask when is your next appointment.

  4. I can relate, I wanted to have an issue just so I know my band was working. I discussed that with my surgeon and he said that I should know that it's working because I didn't have issues. Just take it day by day. Ask questions. No question is a dumb or silly question. Remember that different surgeons have different rules, therefore the responses may vary.

  5. I'm sorry but that PA was 100% wrong. Acid reflux most certainly is possible with the band' date=' and if you are having reflux with the band then something is wrong. Acid reflux with the band is one of the first red flags of being too tight or having a slip.[/quote']

I agree with Mis73. A definite red flag.
