I am 5 months post op. I thought that at this point, I should be getting my daily protein from foods not shakes. Well, I had a doctor's appt last week. I was told that I should keep drinking protein shakes because food alone does not provide enough daily protein. I guess all surgeons have different opinions.

I have Lupus and Fibro. Was banded in April. So far, I have not experienced any problems or flare ups. I have loss a total of 60 pounds. The weight lost does not take the pain away but it is a lot easier to deal with the pain now.

I have a 9 cc Realize Band. I was banded on 4/3/12. I finally hit the green zone at 8 cc's. -
I wore a 40 DD before being banded 3 months ago. Now I am a 38 C and wearing cute, strapless tops and dresses.

I wouldn't worry about 1 pound. Sometimes my weight fluctuates daily by 3 lbs. My doctor said this is normal. But here are a few things to consider. It could be muscle gain if you are excersing. Are you following your dr's orders for eating? Could it be water retention? -
