  1. WOW!! I have never posted or ask any questions on this site. Honestly I am a little afraid to. Is seems like there are a lot of very rude women on here. Reminds me high school.

I cannot think of a time that I have had anyone be rude to me.

I think the problem is that most of us are, well, women. With hormones. We *sometimes* take comments and post in a way that they we not meant. Maybe when we fire back it is that time of the month, we havnt had a time of the month in a few years, had a bad day, the list goes on.

What I'm saying is most of the time when threads get out of hand its because of a misunderstanding and maybe, just maybe some bad attitudes.

  2. It's not goal, but I the changes between that girl in pink and the me I am today Is amazing!!! 45 pounds doesn't just feel like 45 pounds it feels like things lifted off of me, feels like coming out of the fog of depression and anxiety. 45 pounds feels like self discovery. 45 pounds doesn't feel like embarrassment to walk into a room of strangers. 45 pounds feels like self love. I am so worth 90 more!! I'm ready to kick some serious butt! I'm never ever going back to that 270lb girl!

  3. Well' date=' I am feeling a little jealous! I just got my first fill today, and I can't feel any difference. I'm supposed to be on clears for 24 hours, but I can just tell I can eat just fine. I ate some frozen soft serve yogurt, and a few other things without a problem. I can drink anything hot or cold, just like before. I have a 4 cc band, and he said he put 2 cc's in, which should have given me good restriction. I'm going to be so bummed if I have to turnaound and go back right away, especially if I have to pay him 165. Boo hoo.

Most people don't feel any difference withy heir first fill. For many it takes several fills. Don't be discouraged its part of this process.

  4. I always have to be more careful in the morning. Have you been throwing up alot, maybe your really swollen?

If you don't think your swollen you may need a tiny unfill. Maybe don't try anything else until noon or so, to give your band a break, then try liquids again. If you can't get liquids down call you doctor. Good luck!

  5. The reason is that the band was stitched to your stomach. When you eat solid food your stomach starts trying to grind and churn that food up. When it starts grinding and churning its moving, that compromises the stitches that are keeping you band where it is until your stomach heals.

Its is actually very important that you do your best to stick to your liquid diet. Try mixing it up with Soups and shakes.< /p>

  6. I so wish I had a magically answer for you, a solution to your problem. But I don't. This stage really sucks! Post op is gonna suck. Relearning how to eat is gonna suck. This just isn't easy.

Maybe to help you get through this sucky stage you could try some new seasonings on you meat. I was allowed one lean meal along with two shakes during pre op diet. For my one lean meal I really enjoyed intense flavors, spicy in particular.

  7. Try the Atkins chocolate shakes, they have a little less protien than others but they are alot more tolerable and not a huge investment. It's super important that you get some protien in right now or your going to feel like crap! I don't know of any other significant source of protien in liquid form other than shakes, isopure(gag), and Unjury. I guess if you simply cannot do a shake at all sip broth it has a little protien.
