  1. Hey guys. Im 6 days out now and had it pretty easy. Everything has gone very well until tonight. I'm having some pain in my upper chest. It feel like its under my sternum and maybe in my esophagus. I'm pretty sure I've walked all the gas out because I really felt it in my shoulders. When I take a deep breath I really feel pressure. Anyone have any ideas? I'm call the doc when the office opens.

  2. Just had my surgery on May 23rd and I am starting to feel sad. I am still very much uncomfortable. I guess i thought i would be and around by now and i am not even there yet. i still think of food a lot and wonder if I am going to get through this. I guess my addition to food was stronger than I thought. Forgive me' date=' this sounds like a pitty-party.[/quote']

I was sleeved on the same day and feel exactly as you do! Let's hang in there and know that things will get better :D

  3. I Can't believe it the day has arrived..I will be leaving my house in about 30 min. I'm feeling nervous..I ask myself am I doing the right thing..oh God please ease my mind!!

    I hope all goes well!

Good luck to you! Mines in 24hrs and I'm feeling the same way. Sending good vibes yoir way :)

  4. I caved midway through pre-op and ate my entire kitchen. I started fresh the next day and everything was fine. My doctor never even asked me if I'd followed the pre-op diet! I coulda slacked the whole time and wouldn't have even had to fess up about it. If it was that important' date=' you'd think he would've made sure I'd followed the plan.[/quote']

Girl I did the same thing! I felt so guilty and scared that my dr would see that I didn't follow it and aboard the surgery until I saw where people cheated. Haha.

  5. How many weeks prior to surgery do you need to be smoke free for surgery? I quit in jan and fell off the wagon on the 26th. Feb was on and off. March is a blur lol well I've been on and off. My surgery is on June 4th. Should I quit now? Or enjoy my last weekend lol

I quit in February. My doctor sacred me with a nicotine test haha. He for real tested me too. My surgery is may 23rd. Super nervous and excited!

  6. 8 year smoker. I quit this past February with the aid of Chantix. Smoked for the first 2 weeks on the drug' date=' then stopped. I only get a mild urge to smoke when I drink, but I've cut back on the drinking too so win/win.

Some people hate the crazy dreams but I loved them.[/quote']

That's how I quit. I had really vivid dreams and would see things when I was half asleep. It was strange and funny at the same time.
