I scheduled my procedure yesterday for November 17th!! 2 days before my 32nd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!! I have a lower BMI so i'm not going to have to do the liquid pre-op diet. I'm really excited but now i'm getting scared. I'm more scared of living this way for the rest of my life. WE ARE ON THE RIGHT PATH!!

please help me anybody that knows!!

I'm 5'9" and 237.5 lbs. I'm not sure what my caloric intake is now since i've been given permission to eat as a please.

Ok so I took the psych evaluation last week and after answering 565 questions I felt completely insane!! I walked in feeling and thinking I was pretty normal, but after 565 true/false questions, you will begin to wonder too. Now I'm ready to choke the doctor and her staff for dragging their feet about sending the info to my surgeon. My plan is to have the procedure done no later than mid to late November, and since I have a lower BMI (35.7) I can't risk doing any exercise or cutting back on any food or else I won't qualify!!! Yes I know I'm griping about nothing but it's something at the moment in my mind. Did any of you feel this way following the psych evaluation? Share your experience!! Thanks for reading.

I'm going to have my band done in Dallas and Dr Weaver is going to do my fills, any info on her as it relates to after the band is placed would be really helpful.

I was denied in April and have been depressed since then. They said that I didn't have any viable co-morbidities, HELLO ISN'T OBESITY A DANG COMORBIDITY!!!!! I have joined weight watchers and I am hopeful that I can get this weight off, I am so tired of looking and feeling like I have been feeling. Has anyone worked with Dr King in Oxford, MS? I am considering him and would like to know if anyone has anything to say, good or bad.

With CIGNA is it absolutely required that you have a BMI of 40+?? I have a BMI of 35.0. Has anybody gotten approved by CIGNA with a BMI lower than 40? I have been through all of the steps and my coordinator seems optimistic. Now I am really scared!!!

I just submitted my information to Cigna, I am really hopeful but to be honest I don't know how to feel. I have Cigna POS Open Access in TN, has anybody on here gotten an approval with that plan in TN?

I am registered to go to a Lapband Seminar tomorrow. Have any of you gone to this seminar? What info did you gain? Have any of you considered Mexico for the surgery? Dr Kuri? I am eager to learn more!!
