  14. My nut said only drink juice occasionally because you don't want to drink all your calories. I can tolerate the sugar in juice but some can not. My nut also suggested doing 1/2 Water and 1/2 juice to dilute it a bit and cut the calories. I still do that sometimes because some juices are really sweet to me! xo Hilary
  15. Before WLS 11-26-12 I had been on anti depressants for about 5 years....I was on effexor right before surgery and have been off now for about 3 mo. Well, I'm thinking I may need to go back on something. I know with the hormonal change after surgery it is normal to be Moody......but my mood swings are ridiculous! ! I beginning to think I may very well be bipolar also..... idk. ...but I can be 110% happy with life one minute and completely miserable the next! My husband must really love me to put up with my bs. ....anyone else having mood issues? xo Hilary

  18. Had my first post op trip to golden corral tonight. I made good choices....no bread, pasta or rice. No fried foods or sweets......so that left me with plenty of meat, vegetables and fruit. It was good but I ate too fast and ended up throwing up on the way home. Oh, and here's the kicker! They charged me the senior price of 9.99 and my hubby full price of 10.99....what kind of deal is that? I ate not even 1/4 of what he did......Smh! Anyway.....lesson learned....I'm sure that will be my last trip to the ol GC! xo Hilary
