Oh Tracy, yes I do have goals and if I travel and do contract work out of state it will be south... possibly even TX for a couple years, as long as I make good money and they pay my living expenses I'm good!

Hey all just relaxing for a few, watching the news and gonna get ready for EMT class. Monday I get sworn in to FD and Tuesday at drill I get my gear and scanner. I found a breeder that is having a litter in October which will give me a puppy in December, just in time for Xmas and for me to be finished with my classes. I'm excited and can't wait. So any good plans for the weekend?

Hey ya'll I am so out of control and am going to serious detox this weekend Tracy - I'm so sorry, but going to sent priority so you have Tuesday Kat - that is such fantastic news Hi Michelle, yes It is going to be insane 12 weeks but so rewarding and worth it and I have such great support that I know i will do great, and I am going to go for my national certification. I am going to do the national Safety cert too. I think in 2 years I am going to get with a recruiter and work south per diem jobs, 2 years here, and 2 years there. DS will be old enough to get himself off the bus and he loves adventures. This is the last 2 years of my 5 year plan.... so where there is a need for me I will be there. Safety with 5-10 years experience, cert, and emt makes anywhere from 90-120k year... plus per diem and housing. I can keep my house and still make almost 3 times what I am now. Tracy / Angela - you mean my jeans are not shrinking? :blushing: I don't know why my belly seems to be getting bigger, I am going to get myself together this weekend and bring my bullet into work now that I have a buggie to get to the trailer and have shakes for lunch, I have to get it together. I survived my first class but I'm exhausted, trying to drink some coffee and heading out the door and I can tell you I will be going to sleep early and possibly even a nap when i get home It is going to be a long 12 weeks have a good day all oh tracy - i'm going to mail package out sat, I know I'm not going to make it to post office before then... sorry

Good Morning all Well, work kicked my ass yesterday, mentally. I am finding I'm not walking as much so that has to change next week. My BIL called me yest and said he wants me to know what she (my former boss)does today because he has been seeing a totally different side of her and understands what they complaints have been all about and he wants this resolved sooner rather than later. He doesn't even have a clue what she has done to me. I also think that the time clock system is going to be returned this week, she told me yesterday it is not working correctly Well, i'm going to go get ready, have to get gas, run to the apple store tonight and shower, dinner and EMT class starts tonight. I need to regroup this weekend and get some sleep. Good thing I am missing class Monday to get sworn into FD and Tuesday is first drill where I get my gear. no wonder why I was sleeping by 9 and I have a feeling red bull is going to be my friend again. Good Morning all Tracy is having left over chinese for breakfast following the rules????? I guess if I was going to have a visit from aunt flo it would be now, that is the only time i really crave chinese food. Tomorrow I'm going to totally detox and get back on track. I think now that I have a way up to the trailer I am going to bring a magic bullet to work and have a shake for lunch - 25stupid lbs, I can do it well, going to get a wash going and try to get some sunshine today, also have to get 5 more chapters done on my class, at least. i have to get it done. I am very excited about EMT class, gonna take a ride today to find parking, big campus well i guess i see why i have been doing multi quotes, I've had this open for 30 minutes and keep forgetting what I'm going to say, so going to get dressed and run to get gas for the grill have a good day all

Had a great day with George, he is on the road again - he had an appointment here so had to go, but enjoyed anyway - might come back to do some training next week and will be here for the weekend at the end of the month Well, going to have a flatbread subway sub I'm starving

Muah! love ya sister Hey all, just finishing my coffee and going to clean my room and get ready for George to come pick me up. So, My boss got demoted to my equal and I have a new boss coming in Tuesday. The original plan was that she was to be removed from site and I was going to back up the new manager to learn what has to happen behind the scenes (he does not use computers so I was going to help with typing/making plans) and was going to take over the time sytem. Well, they let her stay, although she only has 1 small building and starting Tuesday I will be transitioning to her building as well as my 3 other, as we phase out of my small one. So to get different news last night caught me off guard but I do understand why he needs her to be there out in the field, no one knows what she does so it will be helpful to know. Last night after work, I went out with BIL and one of the superintendents. When Super left, BIL and I had long talk, he told me he wants me to tell her "he wants me to be aware of how to use the time system and if she has a problem with it to call him". I told him about how she scheduled me to work last week and then at 3pm told me I couldn't and then noon on Friday that she was going home and I had to stay, and when he asked what she does I told him she is in field but lots of meetings idk what she does. I told him how the iron workers came up to me last week and asked me to take care of something for them because they would much rather deal with me, and how she told me she was doing work at home but was on her friends porch while kid was at fair doing paperwork. How do you charge time while visiting? If you charge home time, then go home and focus and finish work and that is that. she would never let me charge time .... but no longer an issue, I already worked with new boss, and he wants me there with foreman to get guys going, and he likes my new co worker but does not agree, and they all know she plays power trip games. BIL was shocked and said she is not going to last and just wants us to know where everything is. Main company still does not want her on site and they will probably hammer her or push her out either way, but new boss is there for "recovery period" for the damage she did with our dept and company as well as myself. I had rough day yesterday, did my own damage control as well as had to deal with a discrimination complaint.. Wonder why I'm so exhausted, its mental more than anything. Anyone have good plans? Tracy - come visit :thumbup: I am going to spend day with George and next 2 I'm going to make my first batch of homemade smoked jerky and finish my class. Hugs and kisses to ya'll

Good Morning gals Hope you are all doing well. Kat - I have to say with all my dysfunction with kev - that is one thing we always did, before his accident we had lunch 4-5 days a week and after it was 2-3 but we always had something to talk about and always met each other. It is a nice thing isn't it? George and I call each other every day at lunch. He is going to come visit for the afternoon tomorrow., anyway... I think he misses me more than he wants to admit, he wants to work back this way... hmmmmmmmmm I wonder why I love taco bell, if it wasnt for the greasy and fatening meat and sauces It wouldn't go down so nice and easy. LOL Terri - sounds like you have a nice relaxing weekend planned for yourself, how nice. I am going to lay low myself and finish my class and clean my room and get organized for the fall, cooler weather means i need to re-evaluate for what to wear as I work outside Michelle - that is horrible about the tree but so glad you saved the fence. I'm getting ready to start my EMT class next week, me and kids go back to school same time. I'm actually really excited about my FD adventure, they told me they are going to push me to become an officer, think I would be perfect canidate. My mom's house is in Lake Montezuma - she lived in Flagstaff and Sedona before they bought the house Angela - hey there - I'm jealous you get to see Tracy so much Tracy - my dear sweet Tracy, you are back on the right path and you will get there, you kicked ass before and you are going to do it again, you were dealing with alot and now it sounds like you are doing better so you will kick ass again. School is in, I always find it easier when kids are in school, when they are home seems there is much more junk laying around to eat. I am still bouncing 3lbs and frustrated, holiday weekend but when I got back to 185 last week I freaked out, it is time for me to lose the last 25 I've been talking about for months, so lets do it together! Morning all Tracy - I am off all weekend and going to get caught up on my sleep. Classes this fall are mon, wed, fri 7-10, I get home from work with no ot at 4 so i can hang with kids, dinner, shower, nap. Class is 10 mins away. I am going to be sworn in on the 13th and get my gear at Drill on the 14th. Monthly meeting is 2nd monday of every month and drills are on Tues. I will be taking FF1 in spring and FF2 next fall and they are excited and are already talking about pushing for offier classes. They are really low on FF and the officers are the only ones going to calls. I only have to go to 10% of calls which is about 25 a year and min of 25 drills but we are the big training site of my County so It will be great for rescue at work. Suzanne - have fun, i'm jealous and drive safe. kat - be careful out there! off to pack my bag, going out on boat with electricians right after work, perfect day for it!

Hey all i want to read and catch up, its been crazy and I see i need to take time to read Tracy - email me your address again, I want to send you something you are all in my thoughts and prayers, i'll pop on after I meet with the FD tonight. I am on the EMT course register for 9/8 so I have lots to do by then

Kat yeah that is what i'm afraid of... even though George has helped me settle down and want a life relationship for the first time ever... from my heart and soul... i don't know if i want someone here all the time, my mom drives me nuts and she is only here a day or 2 a week thanks for that reminder

Morning all just wanted to check in real quick. It has been like fall here and I've been sick as a dog my boss is pulling her bs and I was suppose to work Thurs night and at 3 she told me I could not stay because of bs and friday she decided she wanted a weekend and was leaving at noon. Hmmmmmmmmm she couln't just say can we switch? Don't get me wrong, I love the money but don't schedule me to do something and then change it around, I have a life too.... and I'm obviously up at 6am on a saturday because I have to work today too I want to go on salary from some of the shit she is pulling, I need to talk to my BIL anyway, if I wasn't so dedicated and love my job, I would have bailed because my boss Finally heard from FD, I have a meeting with them on Tuesday at 6 Another dilemma... there is a guy at work, who I have become friends with... and just friends... his job is done and can stay with another company but will not have housing allowance so doesn't want to work to pay for rent, and is looking for a room to rent, mom is leaving in a few weeks and won't be back until October, and can crash with my sister, but she gives me rent and is starting to freak about it, I'm considering letting Blane rent her room so she can not stress about money for a few months. He is a good guy and I totally trust him, if it was anyone else I would question but I don't and I'm considering help me think this through guys???? Well, I guess I should head out to work I hope to be back about 1

I am so jealous you all are close enough to visit. Tracy - i know I keep giving you a hard time about coming to see me, and you know that is because I would book a flight and then chicken out, but I might just hop a flight last minute and show up one day. I am seriously thinking about taking the kids to SanAntonio for vacation in the spring Well, I've screwed around enough this am, I have to leave for work in 20 minues and I still have to get my golf clubs in my car, pack my cooler, and get ready for work. It is rainy today so no major hurry, shoot, only 68 today, I need to grab a long sleve shirt too I spent most of yesterday repairing my computer, oh how nice it is working, granted it is still old and could be faster but it is happy. I did a couple lessons last night of my class in the time it should have taken and not 2 hours waiting for pages to turn. have a good day all, i'm either going to get some ot or get out of work at 2. I hope for OT, its fall and I have a few things i need to do to get ready for winter and don't want to do it all at once ... or can't afford to.

Hey all 71 and rain today and only 70's all week. nice but yuck it is august Kat, I am happy to have one and I'm sure will be great.. thank you soooooo much, i'm actually checking my mail looking for it Suzanne - I am just beginning stages of getting set up. I dropped my application off and they said would get back to me by mid month and I've heard nothing, I'm calling tomorrow to find out why the delay? I don't want to lose my nerve to go hang with younger people to do this, ya know? worse case I will do it on my own in the spring when they do the night/weekend training, but I don't want to do that well off to get a pedicure, my feet are a mess from living in work boots. be back later

Hey Tracy I wish I had time off, mom gave me a $450 voucher on Southwest... I can come visit and find me a cowboy to bring home with me did I say that out loud??? lol I've going stir crazy with this class and computer... and I am not a welder and don't ever want to be so having a hard time with this chapter, just can't get it.
