  1. Correction: I have a managed health plan provided by Medicaid. Same thing to me, but might be considered different depending on who you are talking to.
  2. I have Medicaid and its covered if necessary like PP said.
  3. Since clear liquids are only for a week for me, and since I have been reading the board I notice that Nectar samples seems to be the thing to do. Any suggestions on how many I should buy, and where is the cheapest? All other clear protein mixes suggestions are welcome as well.
  4. Haven't read all the post but my goal is between a zero and a six, and being "normal" size was my drive for surgery.
  5. Just found out that even if I went elsewhere I still would have to go to there testing on the 12th?! The whole point of doing this was so I could have gotten my clearance letter and notes by the 5th. So now I have to wait for a call. If I still need to get pricked again, I might as well just wait.. Grrr...
  6. Called a few, and they are acting like Im speaking another language. One told muc me no, one boounced me around soh on the phone but told me yes. One told me my doctor had to do it. Problems...
  7. Was it an issue? Did you have to answer to why you were doing it there? Are all preoperative testing the same or do you need to tell them what specifically to test for?
  8. Lol, I'm talking about in non AC places, like outdoors, etc. My AC is crappy, and its usually still hot maybe 90 degrees if 100 degrees outside.. No relief really. If it's like over 80-85 outside with high humidity, then Im angry. I dont mind a bulky jacket in the winter, especially if it will keep me warm. I usually avoid them though if its heavy, and not stylish.
  9. Long story, but the shorten version is my hospital only has preop testing once a week, and I wanted an earlier schedule so I could give my information to the doctor in sooner (keep in mind I was trying to schedule this for over two months.) So just imagine how I felt when I got a date later than what I was planning on. They had a new policy of giving patients the date instead of what was on the instructional letter, which was call and get your own date. Btw, the only way I found out about my preop date was because I called to make an appointment. I am still trying to figure out when they were going to call me and tell me, maybe a week before, but who knows. Anyway, what I want to know is, did any of you go somewhere else to get your preop testing done. I figure if I did that elsewhere it would be problematic, and the wait would probably be longer.
  10. Single, and decided to pop my head in. Not looking for love, any time soon. Been single for some time. I have decided to keep it that way, especially with school coming up. See ya guys.
  11. Like in the winter, I saw my self tolerating the cold more. I think its mainly because I've always lived in a COOOOOLD house for twenty years. LIke 40 degree cold (my mom is cheap with the heat.)
  12. I can handle 70, 75 is alright its this 100 in NYC business thats making me angry.. Grrr. I would go Hulk, but that would make me sweat more. I wanna go bike riding darn it.
  13. I'm Kay Sleever on FB, and my messenger is pinkstiletto66 on yahoo. Anyone feel free to add.
  14. My date is the 30th, but waiting to see if there is an earlier slot. Woohoo.
  15. I hate the heat!!!! 95 degree does nothing for me, but make me angry, lol. Anywho I am naturally warm blooded, and so is my son. I hear that some WLSers are cooler because of a hormone related thing as well as less body fat. For those that are cooler, tell me your preop weight, current weight, and if you were naturally warmer than others. Another question do smaller people tolerate weather like this because of their lower fat composition or is it an individual thing for them? Even if I were at my goal weight of 125, I can't see me changing how I feel about the weather, but who knows since I might be lighter and more ability to be "nekkid" outside, lol.
  16. Yea, I will look again. I ended up downloading something with various types but not the one I want. Thanks.
  17. I put a leopard balconette bra in my basket but I remember they fit a little weird but cant remember. What is your take on the balconette bras? I usually stick to full coverage so I dont get that double boob coming from the top. Btw there is a 20 percent off or 25 dollars off coupon code, I cant remember it now, but google it and it will come up. I also keep forgetting that I can just keep as much as I want to because I bought some on sale, and was able to return and still keep the same.. Duhhh, lol. Totally forgot.. I'll just order the four, and return two.
  18. Anyone tried the goddess brand? My ideal boobie size is a 34C, not too big, nor too small. I can jog without black eyes.
  19. I have some scars I want fixed (didnt even know it was possible) and I want to call to see if my insurance would cover it which I doubt, but still want to find out.
  20. I already did, and it doesn't. So I made this post to see if anyone has insurance that covers it. Then call them up if they are in my city.
  21. Curious to know if anyone's insurance covered them? Assuming you are over age 21.
  22. Yep, makes alot of sense keeping them in plastic. I'm so curious to know what my boobie size will be once under 200. We are all big boobie people in my family. I think I'll end up a D, a pancake D, lol.
  23. I love shops like biggerbras, it gives you some good options for the bigger boobie ladies, as well as the smaller boobie ladies as well. As small as a 28 band.. But yea to the above post, yea, I think I'll concentrate on the band sizes more, because I can always put in them volumizing things I usually remove. Since I still have some of my 38 DDD's and one 40 G, I'll buy one or two of the next size down. Thanks yall.
