  1. You are tiny now. You look great. What size were you before, what size are you now?
  2. That's cool. When is your surgery? Or when did you have your surgery?
  3. My thing is hating oneself, and wanting a tweek are two different things. Anywho I can only speak for myself.
  4. I didn't word my question right. (My comp was dying so I was righting as fast as I could.) I mainly wanted to know if how a person felt about their body before surgery, does it play a part on how they say themselves physically after? Example: I have never said anything bad about my body. Of course I'd like to lose weight, nip and tuck, but I just have never said things like I'm disgusting, no one would want me etc. I have heard (not from this forum) but have heard people I chat with in the past and present that has said such awful things about themselves. So what I want to know is, is it possible for a person like me, that has been rather confident about my body become unhappy with it, and not see how far I have come in the future? I was watching someones video on YT, about body dismorphic disorder. She lost tons of weight after WLS. So I guess I'm asking how many men/women see all their hard work?
  5. Ooh lala. Do tell me where this action happens. Goodluck Lissa.
  6. Lol at penis growing out of your vagina. That would be interesting. I had my clitoris hood pierced when I had my son via c section.
  7. I must admit I love seeing before and after pictures. It gets me more excited, waiting impatiently for my surgery month. Anywho, I am looking for pictures of woman at or near goal who were a bit heavier like me, between 300-260, around 5'6, whose goal is 120-160. Thanks.
  8. I too want to see my vagina. Lol. Besides that I want to shop at any juniors store, go for a run, and see what my face would really look like without as much fat. I am looking forward to a smaller everything in a nutshell.
  9. I too was nervous about being naked, but if you gotta do what you gotta do, you do it. I've even thought about cutting a whole in my undies for the cath. Haha. Like someone has said, they see it all.
  10. Do you think the outcome of how one sees themselves before surgery plays a part on how they would feel after? I keep hearing how people feel like they don't see the skinny them after losing so much weight?
  11. I'm so cheap so I am digging the fact that one drink will last me the whole night. Lol.
  12. It's good to hear your responses, because this was a big issue for me in my head. I have to still practice to drink more throughout the day, but have been known to wait until I am thirsty then guzzle my water down. I'm trying to retrain myself in regards to my water intake.
  13. Oh, okay thanks. I thought I could only drink like 2 oz and I was like OMG, I'm going to be so thirsty and uncomfortable! Lol.
  14. Good to know. But I'm curious as to why quick reserves are there at the beginning as oppose to when a person is near goal? I hope you understand what I am saying. For example, what you are saying is that I will lose my reserves first regardless how much I weigh. Is it because I went from sedentary and then started actively losing weight?
  15. Okay thanks. I know a alot about liquor (well at least my favorite ones) including the caloric content. I was a gym rat a few years ago and I googled all of my favorite drinks for the alcohol content. Can't remember the exact numbers but it was like 1000 cals for one of my favorite drinks depending on the size. I'm not a big drinker, just was interested on how it affects some, and if there was a "list' on here. I was watching someones youtube, and she still felt the liquor the next day, but she was drinking at 4 weeks out so I'm sure it would be different later. I guess there's only one way to find out.
  16. My doctor put no alcohol on the paper like that's going to happen. So what I want to know is how long does it take to leave your system?
  17. On another forum someone mentioned the allowable liquors/wines for RNY, I am sure it would be the same idea for sleevers. I know sleevers aren't suppose to have any type of alcohol, etc. Anywho, what have you sipped on, and how did you feel?
  18. Lol @ cheap date. You can share meals. Could you imagine. Oh my gosh, I love doggy bags, or having left overs to munch on later. Sorry, I'm hungry. I too am single and not seriously looking. When I have my surgery and start losing, I think I'm just going to enjoy that free/me time. I'm going to dress how I want, and really just enjoy the new me. It's been a long time coming. Like on the biggest loser there were a few couples formed, and I just think especially when there is something that both people went through it helps on the bonding.
  19. I know there's some guys in here, probably hiding behind a bush somewere, lol. I always wondered if any sleevers ever met from a meetup on here/local wls meetups ? I think it's always great to have someone with a common interest, and understanding of weight loss, extra skin, etc.
  20. What does two pieces of pizza look like? Are we talking personal pan from pizza hut?
  21. I'd like to know how much water you can drink in one sitting, and how much water do you drink before, during, and after an intense workout? This is one part of the surgery that I think might get to me. When I work out hard, I'm thirsty, and then I wonder... What now?
