Look @ you Congrats!. I was sleeved 4/12 and am back today. Im not tired yet still a little sore in the biggest incension area though. I have not touched a scale yet. Im actually afraid to get on a scale.

  2. @kmagee' date=' happy to hear about your lost. My nut tells me that it takes time after surgery for your body to get back on track. It's been 3 weeks for me and I have lost another 6#s. It may have been more, but I am backed up...lol. I couldn't imagine taking benefiber at this stage. I have a hard enough time with the mushies.[/quote']

Muralax is the best. U can put it in Water & never know

  3. Ok.....So having my gallbladder removed hurt more than this. Im not bragging but I have some discomfort. But its not as bad as I feared. I'm still working on my gas peppermint tea has helped a lot. My mouth is DRY. I'm working to get my liquids down. Sip sip. Im sooo thankful for my Dr.'s & nursing staff. They were the best! Im still walking. Its more comfy than standing.

  4. I had surgery on March 26. Everything has been going very well and I am down 21 lbs! The day I got home from the hospital I threw my scale out because I didn't want to become obsessed with it' date=' so this was the first time I weighed myself since surgery. Woo hoo! After I got home I started trying on the 10 pairs of pants that are hanging in my closet that I have not worn in sooooo long. Happy to say a couple of them fit! Today I am wearing a pair of capris that I haven't worn for a couple of years, and am ok with showing some leg now![/quote']

    WOOT WOOT! GET EM LEGS!

  5. I haven't started my two week liquid yet but a friend at work did. She said the first 2 or 3 days were the worst and then after that it wasn't so bad' date=' you got used to it and your body adjusted. I figure that I'll get through it. I want my surgery to have the highest chance of success and I will abide by the rules which I understand shrinks my liver and reduces those risks. Each person has to make their own decision but I've tolerated many extreme diets on the short term so I can manage this two weeks of Protein drinks just like I did those other fad diets.[/quote']

I did the 2 week liquid diet and if u get some prenatal Vitamins by day 3 you are ok. Trust me its better to have the carbs & sugars out now

  6. I've been on a clear liquid diet longer than most due to a leak and abscess. This site' date=' some wonderful peops suggested to me Isopure Protein ready to drink (RTD) bottles. I haven't found one that I like yet. However, the lady at Vitamin Shoppe was a bodybuilder and suggested this other clear liquid Protein to me.... it's wonderful! It's called Cytomax Pure Protein Performance and they have three flavors: watermelon (red), tangerine (orange) and tropical (green). I haven't had the watermelon yet, but the other two are a bit tart at first.... but I really am enjoying them. I put them in a huge mug with ice and sip sip sip throughout the day. They have 40 g of protein per 20 oz bottles and nothing else is in the drink (essentially... a bit of sucralose perhaps). They are made of whey protein isolate (which is the second ingredient behind purified water). Enjoy![/quote']

    Hows the price?
