  1. Havent been scheduled for my surgery yet' date=' im a 44D ...i love my boobs!!..i get really depressed thinking about them shrinking....thats really scary to me ![/quote']

Yes this scared me too. But I wanted the weight loss. So ill just get some new ones

  2. Well I had my surgery and am in my room I have a surprise I did not get the sleeve! My hernia was to big for it so she ended up doing the bypass! We did discuss this previously and that is what we decided on. So I knew there was a slight chance. Feeling pretty good very sore and tired. And oh my the dryouth is killing me. Hope all my date buddies did well also.

Congrats ! To you, keep walking

  3. My last Nutrition appt woohoo!!!

Just got back from my last nutrition appt' date=' even though I gained 8 lbs since the last appt she didnt extend it yay! So NUT said she would submit info to surgeon today. 10 mins later I got a call from the surgeon's nurse saying she was going over my paperwork and would submit today! She said anthem blue cross takes between 1 to 2 weeks for approval so I'm hopeful.[/quote']

    WooooHoooo!.

  4. I'm 5'1" and some change and at goal. I might have something to add here if anyone has questions.

I had surgery at 242 pounds and a very snug 18/20 and am now maintaining between 133-137 pretty easily. Most of my clothes are size 6 or small. I had hoped for a smaller goal weight' date=' actually, but it's just not going to happen. I'll need plastics eventually and that will easily take that last ten pounds off for me. It's not that I really feel I need to lose more weight, either, it's just that the BMI chart really sucks and my doctor still kinda nags about me being so close to the overweight line.

Anyway, hello to everyone! It seems like the majority of the folks here were just recently sleeved or are awaiting surgery.

Edited to add pictures. Everyone loves pictures, right?

    Wowzers! Go get em chica!

  5. I am not a fan of low fat or fat free anything' date=' except maybe milk. My main reason is when the fat is taken out it is usually replaced with something unpronounceable ! I do believe in eating real foods....nothing synthetic, no preservatives, etc. My goal is not only to lose weight but to also be as healthy as possible. Since I am only four weeks post op, I have just recently started eating regular foods, and this is what I have been doing. Real food, of course Proteins first, then veggies, etc.[/quote']

Im not into the fat free stuff either. How much weight have you lost?

  6. I was sleeved on the 16th. I had pain Monday and Tuesday. It felt like I had done 1' date='000 crunches. I walked a lot in the hospital and it helped tremendously. I had bad reflux on Tuesday night and was afraid this would be a nightly occurance. Thankfully it has not been back. I walked 1.5 miles Wednesday and Thursday and 3 miles today. I feel great. My scale says I'm down 10 lbs. I'm so excited. Today was the first day of pureed foods so for breakfast I had Muscle Milk Light with 2 tbsp of Peanut Butter, lunch was a small cottage cheese and refried Beans, I had another Muscle Milk Light in the afternoon and for dinner I had a half pureed Purdue Perfect Portion chicken breast and some pureed mashed potatoes and green beans. I got in my Water intake and my 80 grams of Protein today. I'm so thankful that I've had no complications.[/quote']

Dannng Im jealous! I am a week out and still working to get in 64 oz and protein

  7. Hey THYCK747 ... I'm able to drink more liquids. It improves every day. Forcing myself to drink more. I decided not to weigh again until my appt with my nutritionist next wednesday. Hopefully I will see a loss.

I go Monday to get these dang staples out. They itch lol. Im soooo excited abt this journey. No backsteps wanted lol

  8. I am 8 days postop and I still have pain with my left incision. The doctor told me that the incision on my left side is the one used to exit my removed stomach. So' date=' I think it will take longer to heal than the others.

I'm going back to work tomorrow. Still get fatigued quickly, so, my sister is driving me to work. Thank God I have a desk job and don't need to move around too much. I have been taking small walks each day but I surprised how quickly I get tired. Before the surgery, I was walking 3-4 miles a day. I know I will slowly work myself back to that routine.[/quote']

Hey Ursiboo72.... Congrats! Yes its only that one that brings me to the ooohhhhs lol. I have not weighed myself yet. Is, it still hard to get your liquids in

  9. I am a week out as well and I have some off and on pain in the middle low incision. Ironically it's the only one that is bruised. No other pain though... I believe it's typical to have pain somewhere after your body goes through that.

Thank u! I was ready to call the Dr. Houston we have a problem. I also went back to work 5 days later (job is the worst lol)
