  1. I have a realize band and got the card. Mine just has the restaurant statement maybe i need to look closer. Why is the site shutting down? I wasn't too thrilled to see that. I was banded April 17th.
  2. I need more ideas for my first 3 weeks of puréed foods since I can't have beans for my first month. I bought split pea soup and refried beans and now they said to wait for a month. I was even going to make chili tonight, thought I had my lunches ready for when I go back to work tomorrow. Now I'm lost except for tuna and egg salad.
  3. I live in Romeoville,IL Banded Apr 17th
  4. Welcome to the other side, how do you feel?
  5. Ugh my dog just stepped on the middle of my stomach. That didn't feel so good. I'm 3 days post op today.

  7. My Dr told me if I have a fever of 101 or higher to call right away. Better check, better to be safe than sorry.
  8. Wow my Dr waits 4 weeks for the first fill. I have had the little burpies even with nothing in my band, that must be the stomach swelling from the surgery. Good luck welcome to the other side
  9. Hi Everybody, this is my first day post op and I'm feeling pretty good. No real gas pain anymore and not a lot of pain by the incisions. I didn't get much sleep at the hospital with them taking vitals and different things beeping through the night. My Doctor and nurse advised not to take Gas-x but I'm sorry last night it was unbearable. I took it and it really helped. So when I got home today. I had some GOOD SF jello and broth (clear liquids until Friday) and then slept for 6 hours. I feel good now and getting ready to watch my DVR'd American idol. Hope everyone who got surgery today or yesterday are doing well
  10. Thinking of you today! I feel really good.
  11. Hi everyone- doing well except for gas pains and crappy yellow jello at the hospital. Can't really get comfy on the bed. Took a walk around that was good. Mouth is really dry. But no real pain.
  12. I'm on the other side resting pretty comfortably in my hospital room. Not too much pain just taking it easy.
  13. Got my IV and a shot in my tummy for blood clots (wasn't expecting that) waiting to go into surgery. Thanks to all of you being there for this. See you on the other side.
