Yes I am from Michigan and I got my band done in Oakwood hopsital

That sounds like my family tell them one thing and they all will know with in the hour. Do what you have to do and when the time is right you will tell them if you want to

I was always hungrey but now that I am going on my 9 months seem to be doing pretty well in June I lost 10 pounds in one month now that I could not bellieve.

WEll if your boss is that bad I would not tell him either just let it slide and when you start losing your weight I woulnd not even tell him then just say you are watching what you are eating. The support from your family well my family was behind me all the way once you start loosing hopfully they will suport you then I would do it all over again if I had to . I had it done this past Feb. and I have lost 63 pounds and I feel great you will too. Just think how good you will feel. Keep in touch.

Ihave been banded four times and yes I don't eat much any more and when I do over eat well you feel it

You must tell who you have to if you do not then don't I di not tell alot of people hardley any of my friends knew . When you get down then you can tell them what you had done

When I had my surgrey done I only told my mother and mother in law and that was it and of course my children knew. Keep your head up and jus think how great you will look

I was banded in Feb. of 07 and the only advise I would give everyone is to eat very slowly .

Dr. Krause is wounderful you will like him my husband had him five years ago. I have Dr. Bacal out of Oakwood now he is the best.

Yes I will be at this one for sure I want to hear what he has to say not knowing that I will need it afterwards though. In may I will not be there we are going to Florida and I just can't wait will this weather ever decide what it wants to do.

well I have only been to one meeting and that was the one in Feb.

That night they gave it to me to sleep but the next day they did not give me as much as when I asked for it. When I was ready to go home the nurse got blood all over me she was in a hurry to get me out then I had to wait 20 minutes for a wheel chair my husband was so pissed. I went to see Dr. Bacal yesterday and he gave me .1 cc fill so we will see how well I do now. I take it you always needed the morphine. and did you have the little button to push when needed.

I missed last months meeting but I was at the one in Feb.

:) I am doing pretty goo dnow but still at times I do not feel hungry. I am still loosing so that is good. I go back and see him on the 9th. YOu said Dr. Bacal did yours on the 6th of Feb. have you been to any support meetings may be I have seen you there. Thanks for all your help.

Well good luck and let me tell you once it is over you willbe so glad that you did it. I have lost 40 pounds thus far and I could not be happier . IT took about two weeks for me to recover but you may be differnt so good luck and keep in tocuh. Sue:clap2:

Hello I am from Michigan-westland and I went to Oakwood to get my lapband and since Feb. 13th I have lost 38 pounds and I have not gottena fill yet but now I think I may need one. any one who needt to chat just let me know.

Dr. Krause is wouderful back in 2003 my huband had it done he is young but very good. At that time there was no such thing as lap band and he got the other done .I had mine done at oakwood just because it was closer to ur house but yes I would go and meet Dr. Krause he is wouderful .I hope this helped. Cindy, I got my vitamens from the vitaman shoppe and your protien sounds so much better. I just got banded on the 13th of this month and seem to be doing ok still sore. But have a long way to go. I take two scoops in my protien suppose to take 40 mg. per day. I wounder if I should take two shakes a day . Thanks for listening. Sie:help:
