  1. I was banded 4/26 and everything is going good for me. I am down 45 lbs!!! My scars have healed nicely I have had 5 fills and I'm now at 5.5 cc in my 10cc band and I'm haveing a hard time deciding if it's the green zone or maybe a little tight I can't eat more than a quarter of a cup of food and things that were ok before I got my last fill I can't get down now. I go back to doc on the 31st so I will find out then.


  2. I was banded on the 26th. I am not doing horrible but not great either. I just want to EAT something and I guess what we have to remember is this is only the beginning. Keep our eyes on the prize!! I'm praying not only for my own strength but for all of us to be strong and know that we can finally beat this!!!!! Hang in there and keep your chin up and I will try to keep mine up too! :)


  3. What's touria said was absolutely right! Very good update...my heart rate is back up! I'm doing much better! They think I might get to go home today! I havent been on any pain meds' date=' and honestly, haven't felt like I really needed them(not that I couldn't use it). My problems had nothing to do with the band itself! & I would never discourage anyone from their journey! Mine just had a rocky start is all! I'm ready to start mine!![/quote']

  4. So tomorrow is the big day I'm excited nervous and scared all in one. My three-day preop diet has not gone to bad not near as bad as I thought it would. That gives me a lot of hope that I'll be able to stick with this and do what I need to do to be a new and improved skinny me!! Good luck to everybody that is having surgery today and tomorrow and the rest of the month.

    Good luck to you as well!! I will keep you posted as to how it goes for me. I start my 0 cal. liquid diet on mon. This last week I cooked a months worth of food and put in the freezer for my hubby and kids. That way I don't have to worry about what they are eatting :)

I love to swim and have been doing it for 2 weeks now. you just have to remind yourself why you are there and what it is you are acomplishing. and not worry about anyone else but you. at least you are there and working toward something amazing!! dont let other people keep you from doing something that you love to do!!!
