  1. Ok. It's been 2 1/2 weeks. All is healed from the outside. I'll probably get in.
  2. Wait, don't get me wrong. I AM showering. Lmao
  3. How long after surgery were you allowed to take a bath? My Dr. forgot to answer that the other day and I want one bad!!! Lol
  4. Thinking of you, sweetie! So excited for you! Hugs!!!!!!! Please keep in touch with how you are!
  5. Honey you're nota failure. It's a tool, not a magic wave of a wand fix. You should tell them that if they ask anything! Lol plus, you had surgery, your body and hormones are in disarray. Though you will lose significant weight, exactly when and at what rate is unpredictable and will fluctuate. Your body and hormones have had a huge shock and there's a lot of adjusting left over the months ahead. Hugs
  6. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
  7. That is so awesome!!!! So glad you're doing better and getting in that protein!!! Congrats, beautiful!!!!
  8. Esheldon76 you're da shizzzz lol, and a breath of fresh air. :-)
  9. Excuse my language, but damn. :-( My libido is already depressingly high. Yeah I'm married, but not getting help in that department as his libido little to none. But 6 days out, weepy and more easily irritated. The irritation is hormonal right now, though. It's not because I'm frustrated at having to be on liquids or not able to have what I want. It's involuntary and then I wanna cry. Oh Lordy... Lol Whaaaaaaaaaaa. Hahahaha!!!
  10. I adore my Starbucks, k? So I'm with ya! The nutritional info on their website for every kind of drink you want to make up is super helpful and awesome and made me realize how vast my options are there!!
  11. I'm six days post op and weepy at the drop of a hat. Any idea on how long the roller coaster might last?
  12. Btw, ghrelin....makes me giggle and sounds like I've had a gremlin removed. Maybe the gremlin was my problem the whole time. lol :-D
  13. Had the same thoughts, my friend. Then you remember that once off liquids you'll gain it back if not for the sleeve. My surgery was on March 28th. I'm not looking for perfection in the end. My motives tend to be similar to yours. Just gonna ride this ride as far down the scale as it will go and not get obsessed about a mental image I'd love to look like. I'll feel healthy, I'll be healthy for me and my kids. Nice to meet you. :-)
  14. You look simply stunning! Hugs to you!
  15. Thank you! Imma try it tomorrow!! :-D
  16. Best vitamins I have EVER had - pre or post op? Nutrametrix!!!!! I swear by them. It is a powder you mix with water. After the mixture stops fizzing, you sip it till it's gone. AND - its isotonic, only other thing that is isotonic is an IV. It doesn't go through the digestive process. I used to ALWAYS have to eat with a multivitamin or else I threw up. Never once have I had to eat with nutrametrix. Because it is isotonic you only have to wait 10-30 min. Before you can eat. No, I don't sell Nutrametrix, lol. My endocrinologist put me this years ago. I loved how good it made me feel also. They are more expensive than some, but comparable to bariatric advantage costs, I think. I will take Nutrametrix multivitamin and calcium at whatever the cost to me - it's been THAT worth it.
  17. I there, my NUT hasn't gotten back to me yet, so I'm going to ask you guys. I'm 4 days post op and on full liquids (not just clear). I can have decaf coffee and Splenda, but I need a creamer and didn't ask about the sugar free or fat free nondairy flavored creamers. Can I have those? What's been your experience? Thank you.
  18. Hugs!!! Thanks for letting us know. I'm in a pre-op room at the moment. Lol
  19. Hope you are doing well!!!! Let us know how you are!! I'll be joining you in the a.m. Sending prayers your way
