  3. How many others out there are losing their hair in clumps? And what are you doing for this? Very scary to see all this hair falling out There is hair all over my house , clothes, etc. Any tips are appreciated
  4. I had surgery about 5 weeks ago, friends have told me that I've become distant, husband tells me I'm very moody. I would like to know if anyone else is on the same boat as me.There's a lot going on right now for me . But for several people to tell me that I've been acting differently obviously means something. I think that food was my blanket for a long time, my everyday satisfaction and now it's been taken away. I just haven't felt very sociable lately. If anyone out there went through this or has kind words of advice , I'd appreciate it.
  5. Funny you asked, I was just about to post the same question on here. I am two weeks post op today. I've been eating my mushy foods and protein shakes. Alot of puréed tuna and egg salad both with low fat mayo, very little. I've also had fat free refried beans, which are my favorite!
  6. Isopure is also very good. 40 grams of protein. Lived on this for my first 10 days after surgery. My favorite was the purple flavor

  11. New to the forum, a lot of helpful points that have been addressed and discussed on here. My weight loss journey started in December. I went to see Dr. balsalma in nj and since then have been to many doctor offices, gotten my Arm pricked for lots of blood samples, learned that I've got a fatty liver, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. but now three months later I've got a surgery date set for march 28th and I'm beyond excited. I am a 29 year old married mother of three , and have put myself off for quite some time now, and ready to get the old me back. With that said, my surgeon has not required any type of pre op diet. Basically the week before I was told to eat light and the day before liquids only. I'm curious as to why some have to diet before surgery and others don't.
