    Cottage Cheese And ?

Cinnamon, yogurt, fruit, salt and pepper with tomatoes. Any combination really> I have come to the conclusion that people either like cottage cheese with sweet things, or they like it savory. Experiment. The possibilities are endless
  2. I'm also a Puget Sound surgical and will be with Dr.Landerholm. Amazing staff and I know someone else that is 4 years out from the same surgeon and she can't say enough good things about all of them as well. My surgery is on tuesday at the Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland
  3. Well I'm a little better...for now...that I just had my last appointment with my surgeon. He is so amazingly calming that I am more at ease now than before the appointment. Good luck to those that are going tomorrow

  9. I have not lie about having mine done in september and with doing so have gained SOOOO many wonderful supporters! The more supporters you have in this journey the better, as most of your success is mental. I had to tell myself that this surgery is nothing to be ashamed of. But to be proud of yourself for making a decision to lead a longer and healthier life. Good luck in your journey and remember everything is your decision. Do things for yourself.

I'm in the same situation. But I have 50lbs to loose. I have decided in hospital with the 1 night stay. I figure the more time I wait, the longer the weight loss process will be. My surgery date is sept 25 with PSSC

    Upper Gi Or Scope

The scope is the final thing I am waiting for before I can schedule my surgery.....and my doctor made it sound very normal. He just wants to make sure there are no surprises when he gets in there while doing the surgery. Good luck
  16. Your concerns are much like mine.....but I do think the benefits out way the fact that we have to give up the 'amount' of food more so than the 'type' of food we will eat for the rest of our lives. As to your concern about aging...I am a hairstylist so I come across a LOT of people. I was discussing my decision to have WLS with her. She asked what it would entail, so I described how they remove a good portion of you stomach permanently. She then informed me that her mother, way back in the day, always had stomach ulcers. Back in the day when that happened doctors removed 80% of her stomach. So technically she had a similar procedure done. She lived a very healthy life and just passed away at the age of 88. I hope this story helps a little with your concern of aging. Good luck your decisions!
