I am one month post op today too! We have lost the same amount of weight also . Great to hear you are doing so well. I am feeling great and so glad I made this decision.

I think most of us worry about what your're describing. I had my band done 1 month ago and I love it so far...just for the fact that it has curbed my appetite and cravings for the "bad stuff". I also think once you go through the surgery and recovery you don't want to mess up what you just went through.

You'll do great-I think the support in this forum is so helpful too.

Hello all,

I was banded this wednesday the 14th. I also have that "twingy' pain as well. I remember having something similar when I had by c-sections where the muscle had been cut and sutured back together. I don't think they like us to wear a binder because our lungs would not be able to fully expand and that could cause pnuemonia, etc (I'm nurse and I have told this info to many a heart surgery pt(. Luckily I have not had the shoulder pain-but hang in there-it will get better. Every day for me has been better.
