  1. Hey guys there is an app on my iPhone that's called 5K and it trains you from couch to 5K you can play your music and it tells you when to walk when to run its pretty cool for all of you all wanting to get into running but not sure how to go about it ! :-)

My preop diet consisted of a Protein Shake Breakfast and lunch then dinner I was allowed 4oz of Protein and a veggie and then of course you can have all the sugar free Jello and popsicles for Snacks I always stayed under 700-800 calories daily you'll have a headache the first couple of days but just take some Tylenol and it will pass after the first few days it really wasn't hard you can do it !!!!! I lost 16 lbs on my two week preop diet I felt prepared after surgery on my liquid diet :-)

Ok so I got sleeved April 11 day of surgery I had lost 16 lbs on my preop diet and as of today I've only lost 8lbs since surgery and my weight has stayed the same the past few days WTH is going on I feel like I was doing so good on my preop diet and the first week postop but now I've been stalled and its barely going to be two weeks post op on Wednesday so I've lost a total of 23 lbs I'm afraid I'm gonna go to my two week follow up on Wednesday and the dr isnt gonna be happy with my progress ! I'm so frustrated I've been sticking to my diet surely I'm not stalled already ??? I need some inspiration haha !!

    Starting weight -268

    Surgery day - 253

    Current weight- 245 (for the past four days ugh)

OMB I've never had Constipation issues I had been losing 1-2 lbs daily and the past couple of days I haven't gone and haven't lost any weight ever since I've been getting my Protein in I haven't been able to go its driving me crazy and making me think I can't lose anymore weight but I'm only drinking two Protein Shakes a day and the rest Clear Liquids and broth WTF this is making me really frustrated HELPPP!!!!!!!!


  5. I am so lost at how people are getting in so much protein! I'm struggling to get mine in and average 40-60 a day! I'm 6 weeks out and just reached the point where I can get in 60 oz of Water. I applaud you ladies! Please share your secrets.

    Have you tried the premier Protein shakes they come in vanilla and chocolate and they are the bomb you can get them at costco or Sams I like them cause they are thin and go down like regular liquids I also use the powder that you add to Water but they are thicker and it takes me forever to finish one . Each of those premier shakes has 30g Protein 1g sugar oh and they are inexpensive you should try them ;-)


  6. Amen sista !!! I'm barely a week post op tomorrow and I'm so through with the clear liquids and all the sweet stuff I've never been a sweets person and this is just too much . Supposedly I'm suppose to just have Protein Shakes and clear liquids for three weeks I don't know how this is gonna work out but I'm just gonna take it day by day . My two week followed is next week gonna ask the dr to advance me to mushies cause I don't know if I can go a third week !!!!


  7. If I was you I'd call the dr ASAP and notify him even if you are a lil dehydrated you shouldn't be having the sweating spells have you taken your heart rate ? If it's consistently above 100beats per minute that's a sign that there is either infection or a leak my coworker works the bariatric floor of my hospital and told me the things to watch for not to scare you but you should really let your dr know how you are feeling that's not normal !
