  1. 1. CLOTHES!!! I love nice things' date=' and look foward to buying some beautiful things without hiking down to the basement in the PLUS section!

    2. Have a huge party celebrating my new body.

    3. Heels. High heels without killing my knees or my feet.

    4. Crossing my legs. Comfortably.

    5. Did I say CLOTHES??!!![/quote']

    I love high heels too!

  2. I understand that I am not to have sugar and drink sweet tea. However' date=' if I'm drinking 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweet tea, where's the harm? I need honest opinions bc that's the only thing I can keep down ![/quote']

If you've just had surgery, I think the half and half is fine because you have to stay hydrated.

  3. Okay, this may not be a big NSV, but it was to me. I have never worn less than a size 22 or 24 in LB jeans, even when I lost weight on my own. But, today I stopped in LB to buy some Spanx and said let me try on some jeans. My surgery was 2 weeks ago today and I could wear a size 20 jeans! Woohoo! I don't know how much I've lost because I decided not to weigh until I go to the doctor on Wed., but I'm pretty happy with that little victory! Yay me...

  4. I was sleeved yesterday' date=' and I'm packing up to go home from the hospital. Yesterday was not a good day for me, at all. I spent majority of the evening vomiting mucous and dried blood. I was miserable, and my blood pressure shot up into the 200s systolic. They've given me 3 doses of b/p meds to get me back into a safe zone to go home. I had the sleeve, along with a hernia repair, and I must say that this recovery has been way worse than my last two laparoscopic surgeries. The good thing is that my blood glucoses are normal, AFTER 1 DAY, so I'm going home without the Metformin, but with an additional one for my b/p. I'm happy I did it, and it's only a matter of time before I'm off the b/p meds. Getting and staying healthy is my new priority.[/quote']

Glad you're going home! It gets easier day by day. I had the hiatal hernia repair too. I wonder if that makes recovery a little harder. I'm going back to work Tuesday, but I'm sure when the day is done, I will be fast asleep. Take your time and rest as much as you need. sleep aids in healing.

  5. The movie was called "Winnie" and was premiered in September 2011 at the Toronto Film Festival. But it wasn't well received and a different distribution company took over; they plan to release the film this fall.

Thanks for the information. It still doesn't change my WLS conspiracy theory. LOL.
