Now I'm Sick
Sorry you're having trouble. I agree with Circa, back up to full liquids. I was told not to advance my diet early, but that I could stay in a stage if my sleeve wasn't ready to move on. Sent from my iPad using VST

Incompetent B@$T@r!)$ @ The Hospital!
Grrrrr. Glad to hear that the second tester got it right and sent your EKG over. I would've been fuming too. We take a lot of time to get all of these tests done and to have to back track and take them again would piss me off. Then to be talked down to like I don't know what I'm talking about would've sent me over the edge. Sent from my iPad using VST

People Who Were Sleeved And Two Weeks Out
I hit 2 weeks yesterday. Been getting 64-80+ ounces a day. The key is to keep Water (or your dri k of choice) with you at all times. Towards the end of the second week I also found that I could take bigger sips at a time and more frequently. Protein shakes took a long time to get down, though. Sent from my iPad using VST

Day 1 Post Op..? About Breathing
The nurse told me to do 10 breaths in a row, was about to pass out. Doc came in and said to do 2-3 at a time, 10 over the hour, or I'll hyperventilate. So space out your sucks. Sent from my iPad using VST

Gas-X, Should I Be Taking This 2 Days Out?
My doc said no to any gas meds, he wanted me to pass it naturally. Every time I felt a tightness in my chest, I walked. Within the first week, all has discomfort was gone. Sent from my iPad using VST

Pain
I stopped all pain meds 24 hours after surgery, while I was still in the hospital. I was fairly active before surgery and walked from the time they let me out if bed. I had some "pulling" sensations (which the doc said was normal), a little discomfort getting in and out of bed, but no real pain. Everyone is different, so it's hard to say how you will feel after. I expected the worse, had my parents take care of my daughter for 3 days and that was totally unnecessary. I also had some one lined up to come and help me with laundry, but was able to do it myself (light loads) by day 4. Sent from my iPad using VST

I used my daughter's pillow pet when getting I and out of bed. Only used it for less than a week, then I was okay getting up on my own. Sent from my iPad using VST

2 Days Out, Able To Eat More Than Expected
I was on clear liquids for 2 days and full liquids for the next 12. Water and crystal light are pretty easy for me to get down, as are broth soups. Creamy soups that I have to purée and strain and protein drinks take a little longer. Sent from my iPad using VST

Boyfriend Problems!
It took a lot of courage for you to end the unhealthy relationship. It also takes a lot of courage to go through with the life changing surgery you're about to have. It won't all be smooth sailing and you need to focus on you, your health, your life. Sometimes changing your number because of one person isn't easy, so many other people, companies, opportunities need to reach you through that number. You can, however, have his number blocked from calling you. It's free. Not sure of the code, but your local phone company can tell you. Like Lyssa said, his issues don't need to become your issues. He's probably feeling really desperate to get you back right about now. The best thing you can do for you (and him) is to make a clean break. Please know that we (on this board) are here to support you. Vent anytime. Good luck to you on your journey. Sent from my iPad using VST
