  1. You look GREAT! Keep rocking that sleeve.
  2. I forgot to post before I left the house. I am here, at the support group if anyone else was able to make it. I am sitting 4th row from the front on the right side of the auditorium. Melissa
  3. You look AMAZING! I dare to say you dropped some years off your age along with the weight. Keep up the good work you are an inspiration to those of us waiting to be sleeved.
  4. You look great Miss AKA. -from a Delta Gal
  5. I was told the same thing, not to start bcp a month before or a month after. I'm not on anything now, but was told to get on something, not the pill, before surgery. Something about the hormones in the pill.
  6. Congrats! I know you'll have a great time in Hawaii.
  7. I hope you have seen the scale moving since your last post.
  8. #clapping You are going GREAT! Keep up the good work.
  9. I am feeling the same way. I scheduled my appt with the surgeon for the end of the month, when I could take off work without my students missing instruction and I want that date to be here already. I hate to wish time away, but I am counting the days until that appt. I'm hoping that the paperwork will be submitted to the insurance company after that appt since I have completed all lab work. #crossingmyfingers
  10. Looking good, keep up the good work.
  11. I have not yet been sleeved, but I have been through a separation, so I can relate on that level. I think that you seeing a therapist is a good step, for you. My husband and I were able to reconcile, and I NEVER thought that would happen. Hang in there. Keep doing what's right for you. If your marriage is meant to survive, it will. If its not, you are taking the necessary steps to put you and you children in a better place. Feel free to vent anytime. That's what we're here for.
  12. I can't wait to finally meet him. Seems like my app is taking FOREVER.
  13. I saw it on amazon, butnitnwas hella expensive. Not sure where to buy locally.
  14. Looking good! Keep up the good work!
  15. I am pre-op at Abington, too. Yay! If I can get a sitter, I'll be at support group. My daughter goes to bed at 8, so I need someone who can be here so she can stay on schedule.
  16. Not sure. I'll ask him if I see him at this month's support group.
  17. I have not been sleeved yet, so take this with a grain of salt. Can you distract yourself? I find that when I am at work I don't think about food until its "time" to eat and only then because I know that's the only shot I have until I get home. Night time is the worst for me because I like to mindlessly chomp on anything while watching tv.
