I forgot to post before I left the house. I am here, at the support group if anyone else was able to make it. I am sitting 4th row from the front on the right side of the auditorium. Melissa

    Bc Pills

I was told the same thing, not to start bcp a month before or a month after. I'm not on anything now, but was told to get on something, not the pill, before surgery. Something about the hormones in the pill.

    Obsessed :/

I am feeling the same way. I scheduled my appt with the surgeon for the end of the month, when I could take off work without my students missing instruction and I want that date to be here already. I hate to wish time away, but I am counting the days until that appt. I'm hoping that the paperwork will be submitted to the insurance company after that appt since I have completed all lab work. #crossingmyfingers

10 Months Post Op And Sad Changes

I have not yet been sleeved, but I have been through a separation, so I can relate on that level. I think that you seeing a therapist is a good step, for you. My husband and I were able to reconcile, and I NEVER thought that would happen. Hang in there. Keep doing what's right for you. If your marriage is meant to survive, it will. If its not, you are taking the necessary steps to put you and you children in a better place. Feel free to vent anytime. That's what we're here for.

I am pre-op at Abington, too. Yay! If I can get a sitter, I'll be at support group. My daughter goes to bed at 8, so I need someone who can be here so she can stay on schedule.

Ugh, This Head Hunger Is A Bia!

I have not been sleeved yet, so take this with a grain of salt. Can you distract yourself? I find that when I am at work I don't think about food until its "time" to eat and only then because I know that's the only shot I have until I get home. Night time is the worst for me because I like to mindlessly chomp on anything while watching tv.
