    Quick Question About Tattoos

So what are you all thinking of getting? I'm thinking of a flower to go around my ankle. In a few of the petals I'll get dates that are significant to me - my wedding date, my daughter's birthdate, and my sleeve date. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Quick Question About Tattoos

Thanks for responding. I decided against it. I have been wanting one for a while and was out with friends who were getting them done today and was going to get one too, but decided to wait until after surgery. When I looked up the average healing time it was between 3 and. 6 weeks. My surgery date is 2weeks, 4 days away and I didn't want to chance it. Sent from my iPad using VST
  6. Awesome! I started logging my food and exercise as my own version of my pre-pre-op plan. Down 7 pounds so far. My surgery is scheduled for June 27th and I'm hoping to keepit coming off before then. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Syntrax Nectar

I recently bought these and have tried the roadside lemonade and Caribbean cooler so far. Both were DELISH! I mixed them with Water and ice and put them in my magic bullet to make a slushie. LOVED THEM! Can't wait to try the other flavors. Don't think I can go back to the boring vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry that I had been drinking. I've also just read that some people use frozen fruit in place of ice, will be trying that after my next grocery run. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Cold Cold Cold Feet

Glad to hear that your dh made it safely to the losers bench. From what I've read on this site nerves are very normal. So put some socks on those cold feet and warm yourself back up to the idea that you (and your dh) will get through this together. Remember, I'm counting on that "all prior surgeries successful" report from Dr. G. . And I may need you to talk me off the ledge since I'm following you by a week. Sent from my iPad using VST

    Liking The Gym?!?!?!

I felt the same way. I dreaded exercise and just bit the bullet. I have worked my way up to at least an hour 5-6 times a week. I love the "high" I get when the endorphines (sp) kick in. I am pre-op and am so addicted to the gym that I was just planning tonight that I may have to take the bus to the gym the week after my surgery before I'm cleared to drive. I know I won't be able to maintain my same level of exertion in the days immediately following surgery, but I don't want to sit on my arse and lose my mojo. :tongue2:
  20. I haven't heard of that before your post, but I'm not surprised that the sleeve has this new variation. I'm sure researchers are constantly thinking of newer techniques to improve upon success rates. So, are you going with the banded sleeve?

    It's Tomorrow! Eek!

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. Can't wait to see your after pics in your new skinny clothes.
  22. {{{HUGS}}} I am overly emotional pre-surgery, nervous to think how I may react to people after the surgery.

    Inconsiderate Family

I was thinking the same thing, LoriRay. LadyIvy, before you put the food on the table (or announce that its ready) put aside the portion that you want for lunch the next day. Maybe have a special container that's hands off to everyone else. I would be frustrated in your situation as well. I bought a box of Atkins Advantage Caramel Nut Rolls and dh is eating them like they're snickers bars.
